If you are trying to make an argument that poorly written proprietary Adobe software is an industry standard, the industry is in worse shape then we thought.
That is because it is one of the few laptop keyboards with proper spacing. Like typical Windows zealots, the above confused features (more keys) with function (properly spaced keys).
Which they would have never made if Nokia had just been reasonable and in fact treated Apple like every other mobile manufacturer on the planet. The fact that Nokia can no longer make a "free" phone that sells as many units as Apples "$200" phone, probably upset them.
The iphone4 is the number one selling handset (not just smartphone) of 2010. I would imagine there were more minutes of phone conversations on iPhone 4s than any other handset sold in 2010. Maybe it can actually make phone calls and antenna gate was just a load of crap.
Oh Snap, the facts are getting in the way again, sorry.
The difference is that Apple will make it right and in a relatively short amount of time. Dell might make it right eventually if there was a safety issue or court mandated recall.
Well the equivalent MBP to your Acer actually does not exist, they don't make anything that crappy. But to get close to that crappy would have only been about $999 at the time.
That one also would have had a user replaceable battery.
Out of warranty replacement of batteries on late model MBPs is $129 directly from Apple or less from third parties.
Sorry to confuse all your bullshit with actual facts.
No one excused them, but the story is misleading. If any of the other hardware was more desirable, it would have fallen first. It was not harder to hack the other platforms, they were just lower in priority...
Pulling an SD card out of my own or a friends digital camera and sticking it into an iPad to view the photos is about as obvious and natural an application as one can imagine. Even my TV has an SD card slot for the same purpose.
I guess it is good that you can actually already do this with a dongle that weighs like an ounce. Cool thing is your whole tablet does not have be bulkier to support the slot when you are only going to use it once a week!
Not really. They are only eliminating people who are not quite as smart as they think they are. Most truly smart people will not look at the existence of an arbitrary feature as part of their decision making process...
Bad for customers and things like this will keep Android from ever taking off as an App platform. Since Android has like less than 1% of the mobile App market, this seems to blow everyones market share theories of trojan/virus distribution away.

I can type faster on my iPad then you can on your netbook. I can also use a stylus, or draw with my finger...
Do you use a walker? :)
All of the Apple programs export to PDF and Microsoft formats..
I think it was tagged troll because the story is pointless link bait...
If you can't see that, you are the one with misguided ideology clouding your judgment.

The only actual implementation has two..

They have no actual users...
Glad to see someone in this thread gets it and knows why..
Particularly the Apple haters, none of whom have done anywhere near as much to promote FOSS as Apple.
Heard it where? Someone say it on the Internets?
They use an AppStore on OSX now, this has nothing at all to do with locking down the platform..
This remains to be seen. It will be years before GPL3 is vetted by the courts fully and we can see just how many FOSS projects it destroys.
GPLV3 will eventually kill off many significant FOSS projects. If that's what your after, grata.

What pricing disparity? I am serious. Show me another similar spec, similar hardware, same weight and dimensions, for significantly less money..
People always make this lame argument, no one ever provides a link...
Apple does not control 95% of the over 1k laptop market because all the people who buy laptops in that range are morons..Quite th
Of course Apple has done more to eliminate DRM from Music than everyone on Slashdot combined.
Weird..

Of course you do choose to exclude yourself from the marketplace that includes more than 90% of the paid mobile apps sold in the past year :)

Indeed Apple may find a way to integrate arbitrary storage space into iOS and then it might change.
