First Nancy strapped one on and pegged his ass in front of the whole world, then his pal Roger Stone gets the "Whatcha gonna do when they come for you" treatment and now this.
There isn't a single solar panel manufacturing company in Canada. 100% of the solar panels with a Canadian company name are nothing but rebranded Chinese garbage panels.
Heliene Solar is based in Ontario and manufactures its panels in Miinnesota.
The sun is still free, and there are more companies making solar panels in the USA and Canada than ever. Some of their prices are competitive with China, too. One US company is about to open a big plant in Mexico.
The good news is there are now at least 23 companies making solar panels in the USA, and their prices are becoming more competitive. It'll get even better once the dumb trade war is over.
Come on, you know it's not about having communications with Wikileaks. It's about engaging in a criminal conspiracy to distribute stolen property. Hacking someone else's computer and taking stuff is a felony. Working with someone to further a conspiracy to distribute that stolen stuff is a felony. Engaging in a conspiracy to distribute stolen property in order to manipulate an election is a big, big felony. And then you have the felony witness tampering, obstruction, lying to congress and all the other general fuckery laid out in this indictment.
And these were just the charges used to bring Stone in today. I guarantee that Mueller has a piece of paper with a list of other potential charges that he will place on the table in front of Roger Stone in order to lubricate his vocal chords. Facing living out your days in a bedroom that is also a bathroom has loosened the tonsils of guys a lot tougher than Roger Stone.
Did you see the part of the indictment that references Roger Stone telling a federal witness to do a ‘Frank Pentangeli’? For those that don't know, it's a reference to a character in The Godfather 2 that gave false testimony before Congress and ended up taking his own life in prison with the guarantee that the mob would take care of his family after he was dead. That one crime of witness tampering alone could put Stone away for good.
I mean, we've gotten to the point where Trump's longest political adviser is citing characters out of The Godfather.
Also, as you've pointed out, this is the first indictment that includes collusion with Russia and actually lays out evidence of collusion. There's a reason Trump chose today to cave in to Nancy Pelosi's demands. Part of it was when LaGuardia shut down this morning, but mostly it was because Trump is starting the feel footsteps in the graveyard.
Go easy on the salt. Remember your blood pressure.
It's not like I need this planet more than maybe 30 more years, if that. I'm fairly sure that it's gonna last that long. After that, why should I give a fuck anymore?
Haven't you heard? We're approaching the singularity when our consciousness will be uploaded to a Roomba, and then we'll live forever.
[And let me save you all some time: Yes, it is appropriate that my consciousness is uploaded to a Roomba because I suck.]
Without "right" and "wrong" you can't talk about science in a meaningful way, I'm afraid. What if theories A and B contradict each other, but both reflect observations and help to predict reasonably well?
Still no. We actually have often seen contradictory theories that both reflect observations and are predictive. They are both useful models until they aren't any more. If you need things to be definitive, then stick with moral philosophy.
"Right" and "wrong" are value judgments that are beyond the purview of science.
You seem to be confused. If the majority of the population wants to do something that the minority doesn't want, it doesn't mean that the opposite is true.
It does in this case.
We're seeing this effect play out in events at this very moment. The majority of the population doesn't want a "wall" to be built, or a government shutdown in order to pay for the wall. Even people who live along the border are strongly opposed to a wall. Yet, the Senate stands in direct opposition to the will of the people by not allowing a bill to reopen the government unless it includes $5 billion, no strings attached, for this wall.
So -and this is important- even though more Democratic votes for senator were cast than Republican votes, there is a Republican majority in the Senate. This is the the minority imposing its will on a majority.
I'm just using this example because it's happening right this moment.
Literally the entire reason they conduct tests... to you know... find out if the hypothesis cannot be dis-proven to become a theory. If a Hypothesis or theory can be proven, then it likely will become a Law or Fact which then makes it... right
Man, you have mistaken impression of what science is and does. A hypothesis can be supported by data and still be wrong.
Scientists seldom deal in facts. Facts are for text books. Laws are for law books. Every scientist knows that his work is either supported by data or not supported by data, and only within the realm of the current ability to measure the data. And in context of many other eyes checking the work. Replicating it. Or not.
Scientists do not make the kind of pronouncements you claim they do.
What is accurate or not is in the eye of the beholder and often up to interpretation based on what one believes evidence to represent.
Which is why science is not done by one scientist, but by generations of scientists, testing each others' hypothesis and rechecking each others' data. It's not definitive, except within boundaries of possibility. It's iterative, and iteration is how error-correction is done.
A God can compel your obedience.
OK, I'm not sure we share enough of a frame of reference to be having this discussion. But you seem like a good enough guy. I wish you well, friend.
Most of the time, most of the science is mostly wrong.
Science isn't "right" or "wrong". It's simply a model of how things work based on analysis of available data. Either the model accurately reflects observation or it does not. Either it helps predict or it does not.
If you're on a search for "right" and "wrong", then maybe you're the one who's confusing science with religion.
I think the new church of science has become well established. Research that cannot be duplicated, constant misrepresentation of facts or evidence, outright deception and money pandering.
I am a big fan of science, but it has become more of a religion of late than the search for truth about our world.
I bet you'll feel better about things after a good night's sleep.
then the complaints from their own members when they have to pay dues and get the shit beat out of them if they ever cross "the line" and turn in to scabs.
You seem to be misinformed about where violence against workers comes from (and hint: it's not from unions):
No, it was to make sure that the majority couldn't impose their will on the minority.
Read that sentence out loud to yourself. ".. it was to make sure that the majority couldn't impose their will on the minority."
So they made sure a minority could impose its will on a majority. An elitist solution to a populist problem. Call it a "democratic republic", but make sure to strip out all the "democratic" parts.
In the past our politicians at least knew how to compromise.
And now that same system has ensured that our politicians cannot compromise. As I said before, if the flowery rhetoric can be believed, and we accept the purported purpose of the founding fathers in hiding an aristocracy within a democratic republic, they have failed at that purpose, miserably.
The name of the employee who was disciplined is redacted in the documents produced via FOIA. His attorney, Noah Peters, said that the employee declined to comment or to identify himself. Peters said that his client was punished by Google for dissenting from the company's "very, very left-wing office culture" and for sticking up for co-workers who didn't conform to the "tribal" political correctness there. Chris Baker, an attorney representing another worker whose claims against Google are part of the same NLRB case, declined to comment. “This case is without merit and we are defending the claim vigorously," Google's spokeswoman said.
Google has denied the NLRB’s allegations of wrongdoing. In a filing responding to the NLRB, it says the employee it disciplined had committed misconduct which “interfered with Google’s lawful interest in maintaining an inclusive workplace for women and minorities that is free of unlawful bias, discrimination, and harassment.” Google also wrote that the NLRB should reverse some of the legal precedents being used against it, including the Purple Communications standard. It is not uncommon for companies to challenge legal precedents being used in cases against them.
In other words this entire case is built on incel snowflake James Damore being disciplined for using Google's internal email system to spread his gamergate anti-women bullshit.
For informational purposes, here is an unedited photograph of James Damore in happier days with a couple of his bros (who asked that their faces be obscured out of embarrassment for ever having associated with such a whiny little bitch):
Direct election of senators was a horrible idea. It made the senate not a voice of the states, but a shitty house of representatives with a horrible representation of the population. The senate needs to go back to being accountable to the states and not the people.
The people are really a shitty way to run the government because the people are largely stupid, easily manipulated, and unwilling to fix the real problems of government.
I understand that it is now an article of faith among the right-wing that the people who are governed cannot be trusted with a say in how they are governed. You hear it all the time on right-wing radio. In reality, it's only an issue now because the people - the citizens - have largely turned away from right-wing control. Thus, we must keep the anachronistic Electoral College because otherwise there would never be another president from the right. We must keep gerrymandering because otherwise we'd never see Republicans control Congress again. And we must not allow people to choose their own senators, because it makes it too hard for Republicans.
These are the same people who complain about "elites" controlling everything. Don't be fooled. Trust your fellow citizens. Don't let a powerful minority control the future of the country.
The House represents populations, while the Senate represents areas.
Why exactly should a big empty area get a vote?
Areas are not endowed by their creator with inalienable rights. People are. The founders kept the idea of a Senate so they could maintain an aristocracy.
because AOC would rule as Queen.
It's good to know that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez won't have to worry about the expense of maintaining an apartment in NYC and one in Washington DC because it appears that she's living rent-free in the heads of right-wing jackoffs.
I'm not sure what the correct acronym would be for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Derangement Syndrome, maybe "AOCDS". But this must some kind of record for causing right-wing heads to explode because she's only been sworn in for a few weeks. People didn't even know who this person was a couple of months ago, and now she's all the far right can talk about. Now that's wielding power.
The above should have read, "The top two current senators in terms of money taken from super pacs are from Nevada and North Dakota." Not Montana, but North Dakota.
As if Trump's week couldn't get any worse.
First Nancy strapped one on and pegged his ass in front of the whole world, then his pal Roger Stone gets the "Whatcha gonna do when they come for you" treatment and now this.
I didn't say "US solar companies". I said companies making solar panels in the US.
Heliene Solar is based in Ontario and manufactures its panels in Miinnesota.

The sun is still free, and there are more companies making solar panels in the USA and Canada than ever. Some of their prices are competitive with China, too. One US company is about to open a big plant in Mexico.
Your vibe doesn't have to be harshed.
The good news is there are now at least 23 companies making solar panels in the USA, and their prices are becoming more competitive. It'll get even better once the dumb trade war is over.
You better read it again, pal.
Come on, you know it's not about having communications with Wikileaks. It's about engaging in a criminal conspiracy to distribute stolen property. The next time I commit a felony, I pray that the prosecutor is not as thorough and methodical as Robert Mueller.

Yes. Your anecdote carries much less weight as a factual source than an historical article that cites many sources.
Do you not know how factual sources even work, dude?:
You seem to be misinformed about where violence against workers comes from (and hint: it's not from unions):

I didn't assume. I just pointed out that your argument is one that is favored by right-wing Republicans, and why.
You've given a reason without telling us why. I'm telling you why. It was to protect an aristocracy and make sure only rich guys were in charge.
So, this is buried in the article:
