By that logic, we should just have the president of the US stay in office until death. Actually, that might be good motivation for voters and politicians alike...
I bet that's a nightmare, but let's be realistic here, they get what they pay for.
Even if you don't like that, you have already admitted that they're putting all their eggs in one basket, and odds are that they aren't making backups. Why not? That's not their job. The magic box will just keep working, and everything will be okay. Big brother Microsoft will help us if anything does go wrong.
I'm probably wrong though. Please, tell me I'm wrong.

No, science finds facts that lead hypotheses closer to the truth, but science itself cannot define something as true. Yes, you can use theory in application, but that doesn't mean the theory cannot change. Truth, by definition, cannot change. Therefore, a theory does not need to be the same as truth, but merely close enough.
Really though, if you need this lecture, then you've got other problems that need to be addressed.
So what you're saying is keep religion out, period. The reason I say this is all religions, with a few notable exceptions can be summarized as: "Most people, more or less, believe essentially the same thing, but they all hate each other and are waiting for the day that their god (or gods) come down from the heavens and kill all the unbelievers."
Ignorance is the greatest weapon of governments and religion, and what we now see is that the governments of the world are using religious division to cause fear. While I care about the ends, I am powerless to stop it. My opinion can change nothing, but I can at least make others aware.
There will, therefore, never be religion in school, but my point is that I don't care if they want to teach it. My goal was to point out the reason why religious fanatics attack science. To them, science is the great satan, just as christianity is to islam.
And the human survivors living in the depleted, impoverished ecosystems we leave behind will utterly despise us for our careless, irresponsible, wasteful ways.
Granted that every game has its chance, but the final fantasy series went from storybook to boring movie and I get bored with the new castlevania games.
One new game I did happen to like was Meteos. Another was Eternal Darkness (when it was new). You're right, most games are crap. I just happen to be selective when it comes to sequels.
Most games today suck. I would much rather play Final Fantasy 1 over 7-10. I still enjoy Castlevania 3. It isn't just a lofty memory, I still play those game because I still have the cartridges and re-releases (although the NES FF1 was much better than the GBA DoS).
If you want us to quit judging, make new characters. That's all you really need to do.
No, you may not start a debate. The fact is that science is supposed to change with observation and understanding. Religious belief is usually "concrete" and a matter of faith. Sure, you can mix the two, but be aware of the conflicts that arise.
Should religion be taught in schools? I don't mind. Just don't teach it in a science class. It's bad enough that science is treated like religion in most US classrooms.
I personally would have enjoyed a philosophy class in high school, btw.
How much would you like to bet that only 10% of the U.S. population will really care?
You've never heard of Rosy Palm.
You're right, ATI has more X for XTREME!!! It has to be BETXERXXXXER!!!

What do you want, intelligent design?
Don't worry, this dream will be over soon.

By doing the rollout and taking the blame when it goes wrong apparently.
Dude, you bought a bomb!
That special power, my friend, is telekinesis, 'cause it has the power to MOVE YOU!
In the right hands,
Ultimately, this will be in the wrong hands. Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
No, if you'll excuse me, I've got a reeducation camp to visit.
The sad thing is that you're probably right.
The amount of beer at the birthday parties.
Don't you know how hard it is to build invisible tubes in the air?
Maybe they'll announce the Phantom Game Console while they're at it.
What do you want us to do? March on the capital? No, we'll just be good little dogs.

But that same old reason will still survive.
"It's not us, so we don't care."
