Very good question! Who is the ISP? Data will typically run through several servers on its way to you, are they all considered ISPs? Or is it just the guy who installed the wire for you?
Yep, the further North (or, typically inland) you go, the colder winter is! However the original discussion was about Amsterdam and Cleveland/Tampa. Amsterdam doesn't get nearly as bad as Copenhagen - which is not as bad as Cleveland in the winter. And I don't think anyone who's been to both in the summer would say that Amsterdam is as hot or humid as Tampa...
But those people were all rich and could handle it... So it's OK. Better to break the law and damage "the rich" than to lose an important voting bloc (and major donor as well) - especially if you can enrich a college buddy along the way!
Zero wheel RPM? Sure. It's called power-braking. You step on the brakes, rev the engine to make power, then you slowly let of the brakes. Then your wheels start to rotate - with big torque, in a controlled manner. the RPM that matters in these cases is wheel RPM, not engine RPM - which means you can have that torque you want at the start of movement.
A model X getting towed away - actively fighting - against a smallish H2 (basically a mid-size Checy pickup with an SUV body). The Hummer wins unless it basically turns off its traction control.
But the unions made out great, as did BlueMountain Capital, headed by an old college buddy of President Obama - who's administration conveniently broke standard bankruptcy rules to provide for the investment bankers to win before the bondholders and other secured creditors...
Gear it down, and anything CAN tow a 787. The GP was correct... If a man can pull a 777, then bragging about how a vehicle can tow a lighter plane really isn't all that smart, is it?
The Trepel Challenger 280 is the recommended tug for the 787; it uses a 180 lb-ft 4 cylinder diesel engine. Probably 80% of cars for sale today have more torque than that. Yep, just about anything can tow a 787.
Here you go, actual dynometer measurements - at the wheel. Electrics can be strong and powerful, but they do not rule the road. There are stronger, higher power ICE engines on the road - the Duramax being one (with 850+ lb-ft at the wheels).
At least they're carrying out the overwhelming will of the people. If only Chuck and Nancy would listen to the full electorate - not just those they want to listen to. Perhaps they don't want to be offended by listening to ideas that are incredibly popular and supported by the vast majority but just want to live in their own little echo chambers safely protected by a wall.
How does making the phone bigger, make it harder to fit in the 3.5mm jack? The fact that thinner phones exist with a 3.5mm jack, that many waterproof phones are made with 3.5mm jacks, and that a hacker can put a functioning 3.5mm jack in the SMALLER iPhone shows it's not in there because Apple decided you didn't need it - not because that space was needed for something else...
Great! Cleveland spends weeks at a time with -5 deg C as normal, runs around 1.8m of snowfall a year, and 47 days with snow on the ground. I lived in Belgium for a few years, and I'd much rather live there - climate-wise - than in Cleveland. The winters are MUCH milder in Belgium/Netherlands than in Cleveland.
This one. The operating empty weight of a 747-100 is around 172 tons. That was the model pulled in the 1972 commercial.

both have to be looked after...
Exactly.
And that is why we need comprehensive immigration reform AND a wall - treat the cause and the symptom.
The steel contained nickel mined in Minnesota, so I think you have a rock-solid case against the Federal Government - sue for $100 billion!
Plaintiff submitted numerous requests to Grindr, as king it to implement basic control
Suit will get tossed on grounds he's impersonating as well - he's no king!
WTF? Your UID is lower than mine, you should know that all good slashdotters don't RTFS, let alone RTFA...

The Jay Leno episode with that car was very entertaining! It's a great thing he saves those old cars and lets people learn about them...

Most big diesel personal trucks are heavier - and usually 4WD (with lots of dually configurations) as well.

Done in 1972 with a Chevy pickup. Except it wasn't a 787-9, it was a 747 that weighs 170 tons. It's really not that impressive; in fact, here's a man pulling a 142 ton 777. I guess the model X comes up short here...
The Tesla loses. The Duramax trucks weigh more, have more contact patch, and more torque.
They'd lose - 1000+ lb-ft of torque for the Duramax engine.

The 900K from from TFS, and there are about 115 million single-passenger commuters every day, and since that is 75% of all commuters - that means there's about 150 million commuters.
