... but I am a win98 user that certainly plans on switching to linux, but only after I get a new machine. Too me, there's no point in saving a Pentuim II with a failing 15GB harddrive.
I would like a way to remove the close icons on each of the tabs. I'm tired of accidently clicking on them, and I couldn't even find an option in about:config.
It could quite possibly be detectable, the question is wheither it's easily detectable. As for illegal, of course it is. You wouldn't need to do it if it were legal.
It almost seems as if (assuming they don't release the source) the want to be sued. Perhaps they beleive the GPL won't stand up in court, and this is their way of challenging it. Obviously they are insane.
I have mixed feelings on this one. I run win98, not because I want to, but because I have been unable to convince my dad to completely switch over to Linux, and he refuses to give Microsoft any more money.
On one hand, it may just mean that I'll have to live with using an older version on Firefox, on the other, it may prove to provide the little extra push I need to get my computers running Linux.
At which point they will cease to be "IBM compatible PCs" and become "Microsoft compatible PCs". *shudders*
All thanks to the godless commies at Levano.
Which is why I just laugh when new viruses come out, it's only the idiots that will be infected (generally speaking). So long as you use your brain, your fine. If you somehow fail to use your brain then you deserve to lose your files.
I in no way condone the actions of virus writers, but I don't lose sleep about it, and veiw the people who manage to contract the things as just as bad (though in a different sence).
That's a great book.
I would laugh, but then I'm American...
Why shouldn't they have a in-house browser? they do have Lotus Notes.
I didn't know IBM used Firefox, I'd have figured that they had their own, "in-house" broswer. Neato

DDoS retail style!
Well, in truth, it started with pilots throwing objects at each other, then progressing to pistols. Mounted guns were latter. Good point though.
I didn't expect that many.
Wow, alot of those are IBM machines.
So now when I copy a dvd, I'm preforming "copyright", not "copyright infringement". Interesting...

too bad my daughter-board is fried, including my sound card.

Wow that petition is long.
That's the one thing holding me back from using it more.

Just imagine that thing having to come out the "other end". I really can't see this thing succeding.

That 4d java applet is amazing! It even runs perfectly fast on my Pentium II.

Nice screenshots I suppose, though they don't tell me all that much.
Main Page redesign sorry about that
The reactions here remind me of the reactions to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiPr oject_Usability/Main_Page/Final_archive/MainPagere design at wikipedia not to long ago (except I'm for the changes here). It seems that whenever you do something like this, you'll get positive and negative responces
