    The tipoff would probably when they start coming at you with highspeed boats (they only use slower larger "fishing boats" as motherships, they need small highspeed boats to catch their prey) and start firing warning shots with machine guns and RPGs.

    The real reason they are not using real weapons against the pirates isn't because the couldn't be sure they were shooting the right people, but rather because docking at ports becomes much more complicated legally when you are carrying weapons.

    KDE uses aRTs for audio.

    Close, but no cigar. aRTs was dropped and replaced with Phonon at KDE 4.0. It's a good thing too because aRTs was an absolute piece of shit.

    No. If people don't realize that reflashing their iphones is the proper thing to do at this point then they are the ones that should not be jailbreaking their iphones. The purpose of the reflash is to ensure that the phone will no longer be infected, which it may or may not have been before hand. Changing the password after the fact will not magically un-infect them.

    Honestly though, if people didn't change the default password to begin with then they really should not be jailbreaking their iphones.

    Oh, and the word you are looking for is "excessive", not "obsessive". Your parent (whom you quoted) got it right.

    The purpose of suggesting that anyone with the default password reflash their iphones is that they might already be infected, making changing the password at this point pointless.

    Of course changing the default password is something that should always be done.

    Actually, Pittsburgh has managed to revive itself very nicely in the past few years, they really managed to clean up and re-image themselves after their steel industry went kaput. It is no longer really fair to compare it to Detroit, which is a shithole now more than ever.

    Believe it or not, waterfall is not the only alternative to agile. In fact, your comment represents one of the biggest critisms of agile. It misrepresents the alternatives and in many ways seems more like a religion than a development methology.

    While proprietary support for ATI cards in linux can indeed suck, they do have far better support from the Free drivers. Of course, if you are buying this card to use with the Free drivers, you probably need to rethink your purchase.

    That said, I'm a linux user who doesn't do heavy gaming so I don't get big expensive graphics cards, and ATI will be my first choice for the forseeable future.

    Expanding rounds are forbidden from being used in war by the Hague Convention of 1899. Full metal jacket rounds may be better at penatrating armor, but the real reason they are used is because using expanding ammunition (in war) is a war crime.
