Now, whether or not they've paid attention to the right details is another question entirely... and one which will be answered shortly.
See, they're too focused on the pretty GUI (which rips off Gnome, MacOSX, etc) and fancy sound effects to care about the back-end stuff! *tut tut*
Why not buy a console for all of your gaming needs instead then? I mostly stick to MUDs/Nethack for my Linux gaming & save my PS2 for all the fast-paced 3D action...although I do occasionally boot back into Windows to have a blast in Unreal Tournament.
"But one of the things that we find is that Microsoft is viewed as the big, bad organisation - but they've actually got some good corporate social responsibility." - that seems a bit suspicious to me...to be honest i'm sure a moaron would find Ubuntu with Gnome easier to use than Windows! Seriously, why do people think Linux is hard to use? Even my non-techie family can use it & agree it's got an easier, cleaner GUI than Windows & runs flawlessly.
There's a mini version of UNIX avalible for the CBM64 called LUnix which seems pretty interesting, though I haven't tried it out on any of my Commodores yet...you can do some amazing things still on Commodores, don't doubt it! I've even still got my COMPUNET modem too, hehe!

Haha, that's the best idea i've heard in a while! Share them as PDF files over P2P.
Urrgh - that'd be awful, if Micro$oft released a commercial version of Linux! That would be dreadful...yuck!

Exactly - they'd use OSS to spread 'the word' & put us back into the dark ages again.

Even if Novell do whore out to Micro$oft, i'm still content this is the best Linux i've used!
How much hard drive space does the PS3 have? Do you reckon SuSE 10.0 could be installed on it?
Either that or he's been smoking Salvia or DMT!
It's a nice idea, but i'd prefer to give a purchased copy of the SuSE 10.0 DVD instead, more on there!
Yeah, I agree with that - i've started learning it myself, it's awesome! After a while i'm gonna start doing GUI stuff with the TKinter libraries.
He was - give me some more Ketamine!
Of course it's gonna have something to do with 42!

Like Lucas' film got updated CGI treatment, how funny would it be if they did a parody with awful CGI effects done on a BBC Micro?
Just cashing in on the sucess of the films & the books?
For me personally out of all the window managers i've used, I prefer Window Maker - beats all else.
Well said indeed - couldn't agree more!
Hehe, that made me laugh! :-P
