In my opinion KDE isn't worth the hype, it's too bloated & slow & takes up memory. I prefer Gnome (even though that too is a hogger) or Window Maker, fvwm, amiwm, Xfce, etc - something lightweight!
I used to do stupid, copious ammounts of drink & drugs during dark times in my life; this isn't good promotion! I can't believe alcohol is legal & mushrooms aren't??!
Sorry, it's pure *evil*, you can't justify it because you're greedy. There's enough for all, so why is the system based around the many slaving for the few? We need Robin Hood, we need a revolution to happen! Overthrow the Illuminati!
>>Doesn't seem logical but Novell won't discuss it preferring, it says, to wait and see what happens in the GPL3 negotiations, clinging to the notion that Stallman and company - anarchist fanatics said to be cut from the same all-or-nothing cloth as suicide bombers - won't do anything to derail Linux.
I can kinda see where they're coming from (being an anarchist-type myself) but I do sometimes think Stallman takes it a bit too far sometimes - he's eccentric, but still in the business world you've gotta hold it down a bit to be able to make people take you seriously & not think that you're some kinda freak!
And he links up his turntables/iPod to it & broadcasts tunes to all the cars parked at our local skate park, it's like having one big sound-system. Awesome!
Damn, & I just got my SuSE 10.0 working all nice on my box...does this mean the OSS community are gonna consider me a traitor if I carry on using it? I'll see what happens, stick with Novell/SuSE for a bit....then maybe move to another distro. Steve BALLmer can kiss my chode. Out.
...along with my COMPUNET modem & other games & stuff. Twas indeed an awesome computer. Many a night was spent lost in some dungeon playing THE HOBBIT text adventure game. Love it.
There's even a fan-made AD&D supplement dedicated to the subject of sex!

We'll be in for a treat if they release all of the surviving Doctor Who episodes online!
Yeah, I watched that Simpsons episode the other week. Got me thinking again, as i'd seen that theory in a Carl Sagan book some while before.
Very good analogy... :-) Don't even get me started as to why I think Micro$oft sucks!
I currently use MPlayer for my media (and Ogle) but haven't installed VLC yet (missing dependencies), is it worth installing?
A poet once said, "The whole universe is in a glass of wine."
Drunken stupidity? Chaos?
Phew, praise Allah that it's nearly over!
...good to see Neo at the top!

Oh.My.God - I wish people could truely see Micro$oft for what they really are...it's so evil.

Which is it?
Get Swiftfox!

*chuckles to himself*
Looks cool, do you think they'll release a PS3 Linux kit like they did with the PS2?
That man should be given a medal for coming up with that!

WOW!

I guess it's my duty to introduce them to Star Wars? And Lord of the Rings too.
He's become a 'geek god' somewhat...
OMG! It's happening! They're here!
