It's legal for women to go topless in my town (there was an equal rights legal battle a few years back) but a game mod can raise all sorts of "OMG think of the children!" BS. Oh... and before you all get excited about coming to visit, no women actually go topless, they just could if they wanted to.
Most senders I've received E-mails from assume I received and read the mail within 5 minutes of their sending it. Scheduling a meeting for 20 min after sending the mail notification is rediculous, or sending it right at the end of the workday (or later) and assuming I'm so eager to read it I access my work E-mail from home. If its that important PHONE ME! Just because you sit all day at your desk with your E-mail open doesn't mean I do, two way communication is the only way to confirm a message is received.
Last time I picked up a game a mother in fron of me was there with her two sons who looked to be about 15 and 12. They wanted a M rated game, the clerk pointed out to her that it was a M rated game and all she gave him was a completely blank look... no comprehension whatsoever of what it meant. Needless to say the kids got the game and I'm sure this mother never even watched them play it a little. Parents need to be involved with their children's hobbies, not just toss some cash at them to shut them up.
15min waiting in cue to log in? When I gave a freebee 14 day account a try I sometimes had 2-3 hour cues... Main reson I didn't stick around. But random downtime during any MMO raid really kills the fun of playing.

from TFA "But Currie said the Argentine deposit had the remains of at least seven animals from 18 feet to 40 feet long, suggesting they may have been a herd or family in which different group members could provide either speed or strength."
and ""The river was running very fast when they were buried in it," Currie said. "It was a single event in a short amount of time." Currie said the deposit did not contain the bones of any other species of dinosaur, a rare occurrence for meat-eaters."
Its not difficult to reach the conclusion that they also hunted in packs, when they traveled and died in packs, in this case at least 7 of them. This is the same evidence used to indicate that many herbiverous dinosaurs traveled in herds.
I can say for a fact that in any conditions when the ABS on my car has come on I would have stopped faster without it by many car lengths. (I can switch it off from a button on the dash and usually drive without it on whenever its wet, or there's ice and snow, 4-5 months of the year for me)
True it is an older ABS system (91 Audi) and newer ones are much better at stopping than the older ones. The true advantage of ABS is the steering control that's maintained for even the worst driver when panic braking, not improved stopping distance. When you can't steer out of the way of an accident due to traffic, or a guardrail, or whatever, you'd be the one dangerously wrong.

Will I now need to upgrade the freakin' laser beams on my sharks to neutron guns now?

"he'd like to see 'public concern and public indignation build up." He hasn't been reading /. much, shame more of the public doesn't either...
