    If the just turn them off then the systems wit the problems will HAVE to be fixed, isn't that the idea?

    Perhaps instead of just turning them off when the time is up, start now by redirecting every request to a webpage explaining what is wrong and
    a link to a removal tool.

    Pay to win on steam? Where? You can craft anything you can buy in tf2, perhaps not the day it comes out but soon thereafter. Also in a team based game, a single player having an uber-weapon does not assure his team of victory.

    The unlocked chips are sold at a premium and are with a sold to the overclockers,
    Personally I'm an AMD guy unless performance requirements justify the extra $ but I think it's excellent that Intel is extending real support to the overclockers, they are after all the "bleeding edge" of enthusiasts.

    There is NO reason whatsoever that libraries need publishers for ebooks. There must be some association of librarians that are capable of weeding out the wheat of ebooks from the chaff and there is certainly no lack of authors.
    Perhaps we will even start getting books in categories that the publishers are neglecting by choice like Hard Science fiction, Steampunk or Cyberpunk. I am sure that you have a category or two that you'd like to see more books in too.

    Once the publishers figure out that libraries are only buying and lending independently produced ebooks and are buying fewer dead tree editions they will change their minds (and demands) in short order.

    Hell, if done right ebook sales could be turned into a cash cow for that Librarians Association, if not for the libraries themselves.

    Sadly, the that does not prevent them from being used as methods/carriers to get malicious software past the company firewall.

    Also, any programmer could create a virus for any platform any day of the week, just because YOU or the AV company hasn't head of one dosen't mean that it does not exist.

    In about 1971(ish) friend of mine's little brother managed to get a dart to the top of the head, he was about 7 at the time, and as I never hung out with him (I was like 4 years older than him) before that I cant say what he was like before that but I can assure you he was never quite right thereafter.

    The bottom line is that nothing you can do will stop the people that are going to pirate it no matter what. NOTHING short of not releasing it will prevent them from getting a copy for free and thinking they are the hot shit because of it.

    Lets say that there are 1000 of those people in the world that want your product, is it worth pissing off the 100,000 people that legitimately buy your "product" with annoying DRM to slightly annoy just one of those 1000 jackasses while he breaks whatever actually useless DRM scheme you PAID EXTRA to use on your product? To say nothing of the fact that you are pumping up that one jackholes ego by giving him some drm to crack!

    Well that's all of my.02, I'm off to go buy a comedy album, even though I've never seen this guy. Maybe I'll check out youtube first.

    Ya, I think the lesson is clear to anyone that isn't an idiot, or working for a DRM creation company.

    If Microsoft is indeed using tools like Google Analytics for applications they are completely ignoring what those tools tell them, Windows 8 is the windows mobile interface that everyone hates on a larger non-touchscreen.
