  1. You do realize that people are more prone to heart attacks, drug overdose, and violence since the invention of the cell phone? Not that there is a causal link, but the same era that brought on the cell phone also brought on fast food, lack of exercise, designer drugs, and blinged out rap singers glorifying gun violence and gang warfare.

    I could, but the three views I've already seen have caused my eyes to bleed. That is one butt-ugly car. The only way I can rationalize it being a Rolls Royce is that they are so dead set against self driving cars, that they produced this turd-wash to make people gag on the concept of self drive from now on.

    But isn't the FBI is the security department of the country? They're making sure that no one is damaging or stealing the Nations Merchandise. Exactly the same role, it seems.

    I thought communications satellites were pushed outward into a graveyard orbit when they were at end of life, rather than de-orbitted.

    There haven't been network classes for at least 20 years. They were deprecated by the introduction of Classless Inter-Domain Routing back in 1993. Besides, good luck getting a /8 or a /24 anywhere.

    I was in the Pluto-is-a-planet camp until I came across Orcus. Orcus is in an orbit that is almost identical to Pluto's, except inclined the other way. Both Pluto and Orcus have moons and are at a 2:3 orbital resonance with Neptune. This, and the abundance of other objects in similar 2:3 resonances with Neptune forced me to conclude that Pluto was just a hunk of debris that was caught in a gravitational "divot", much like a trojan asteroid.

    I run linux on both my desktop and my laptop. I run pfsense on my gateway machine. How in the name of the eight worlds of Sol is Microsoft going to convert them all to XBoxes?

    Cars are powered by gasoline, or battery-supplied electricity, or even natural gas. But they will NEVER be powered by software.

    I think you better check your facts, mate. An environment with an atmosphere, even one as thin as Mars', is going to trump the vacuum of space when it comes to being similar to Earth.
