I think I will write them a letter.
I will copyright the letter and inform them they may not read it aloud under any circumstances.
They won't be able to copy it or fax it either.
Maybe it would be better to send it to the lawyers, so the lawyers can inform them they received a letter, but can't share it, only mail the original to them.
How could it be a 0 carbon footprint? The maintenance and building of the windmills would have to create a carbon footprint. I don't even think it would be that hard to measure.
Just don't be so quick to say zero-carbon-footprint. It's nice to reduce it, but it doesn't DISAPPEAR that fast, if at all.
But were they compared to others, or to themselves. I'm quite certain I'm not able to drive as good when I'm drunk, however I live in Charlotte and I'm sure many people are able to drive drunk as good as many of the sober drivers I see.
Ah, but is there any study to compare a drunk driver to a different, sober driver? I'd be interested and totally willing to be a drunk driver on a closed course and compare to multiple sober drivers.
Would they dare take the licenses of sober drivers who were worse than some drunk drivers? Nah, probably not!
Yes there are. The limits on free speech would be libel, slander, verbal assault, harrassment, etc. If you aren't committing a crime with your speech, it is then free to happen. Or free until you are limited by laws protecting others rights. Your free speech is important, but only until it infringes on others' reasonable rights. Those would be the limits.
We don't need more laws, we need better laws.
If it's practice it shouldn't need to be graded. In at least two classes in school I failed due wholey to lack of homework completely. In Math I scored 97% on a final, and Biology set the curve at 100%. I failed both those classes.
If you can demonstrate you have gained the skills, through understanding, practice, intuition, whatever, you should not be allowed to fail the class!
Yes, quite odd. All the gun-related incidents I seem to hear off are all from illegal used AND illegally obtained weapons. Its not even too often I hear of an incident where even a legally obtained weapon is used for a crime.
Odd, most my pages load faster in IE. I primarily use Firefox but often use both. I notice that from the command line, IE loads and displays a webpage faster.
Ah, I was speaking of Discover which I would consider a major credit card company. My understanding however is that VISA/MasterCard actually specify in their merchant agreement that the merchant cannot REQUIRE a credit card. I'm only about 92% sure of this as fact, and as far as Discover card I'm not sure but suspect they do not make this restriction.
Actually, its the credit card company that gets the fees, so they want to make sure they can make money on $2 transactions just as they do for $40 transaction. Therefore the conversation is more like:
Mr. BarOwner: Sorry, we have a $2 minimum. Mr. Customer: Uh... No you can't do that. Mr. BarOwner: Yeah we can. Mr. Customer: [Calls the credit card company] Mr. Credit: If you want to make any money from credit card transactions you won't charge ANY fees. We charge fees. You either accept credit cards or you don't. Mr. BarOwner: Oh, sorry... No minimum for you. Mr. Customer Continues to frequent the establishment, spending hundreds over the year. Mr. BarOwner continues to make thousands on credit card transactions despite fees. Mr. Credit continues to make millions because they know there are plenty of customers who will always pay by credit card.
It's not a law. Its a contractual agreement between credit card companies, processors, and merchants. Now, I do believe that it is a law that you can't charge a fee to process credit cards. Exempt is gas stations and such who have two different prices, a loophole I guess, and the IRS who *is* allowed to charge a convenience fee.
In the US companies are not allowed to charge minimum fees. It is a rule imposed by the credit card merchant agreement, although most people don't know it. Is it the same elsewhere?
How often do YOU get pulled over and IMMEDIATELY pay the meter? Because you're just asking for 2 tickets if you get pulled over at a parking meter.

Yeah, okay. Thanks for offering that distinction.

Easy to add, difficult to remove:
Sounds like the no-fly list.

I'm not sure about this, but I would assume the limit our vision would have no bearing on the reflective properties of a mirror.
Wow, you still order pizza OFFline? Poor soul...

Not only that but it had to be an awesome access-list to do some much in 1 or 2 lines!

I believe this is for mastercard/visa, stores may not require ID. However, I do think that Discover may allow store employees to require an ID check.
Now, I wonder if by role-acting they were set to plant a fake bomb on the plane. Then there would be something for them to hide from the lie detector.
My Nokia phone allows custom conversions to be entered. I think I'll put this one in there!
