Autopatcher offers monthly packs of Windows Updates for several versions, and it's free.:)
"In short, AutoPatcher combines the advantage of both Windows Update (presentation and description of updates and automated installation), and the special administrative updates (portability and installation without the need of an Internet connection)."
Firefox: NoScript. Extra protection for your Firefox: NoScript allows JavaScript, Java and other executable content only for trusted domains of your choice, e.g. your home-banking web site.
This whitelist based preemptive blocking approach prevents exploitation of security vulnerabilities (known and even unknown!) with no loss of functionality...
Experts do agree: Firefox is really safer with NoScript;-)
99% of people that buy a new PC from the store are going to leave the same "windows" on it.
You're still paying for the OS install, anyway.
Reeeeeeaaaly.
The internet and search engines make record labels useless. Rather than adapting, they bitch, moan, and sue people without computers.
Open source *is* the solution to everything. If Windows wasn't the only OS that ran [most] games, i'd switch to anything else in a second. If it's open source, it's made to work, not made for profit like every other piece of trash on the market.
At first, crawlers/bots/etc would search for plaintext emails, now that they can easily search mass quantities of code,
wouldn't this make it easier for crawlers to find emails hidden in code also? I have little to no idea what i'm talking about, but this is a bad thing, right?
There are many IE lookalike skins/themes available for Firefox. FF does have a fairly slow initial loading time, but I think it's only the first time it loads during that session, otherwise it's near instant. There are several tweaks available also, but i've never looked into anything dealing with launch delays.
Why would anyone download a song off of Myspace? Honestly, i'd really like to know. Wouldn't it be easier to stick your head in a toilet and start screaming about your ex?
Which one of these Web 2.0 Buzzword technology enhanced applications come as the default for nearly every computer?
It's not competition if nobody knows about it or cares to learn it because Windows apps are already right there.
My professor said that Wikipedia isn't a valid source "because anyone can edit it".
How is Wikipedia not a valid source? Anyone can put anything on their website and call it factual. Anyone can put anything in a book and call it factual. Any source is factual as declared by the author, so why not Wikipedia?
I trust the collaboration of thousands over one person - whether they are anonymous or not. Besides, I always use more than one source.
As said above, it's going to be incredibly funny when Macs and Linux have a decent userbase and begin receiving little gifts that PCs have put up with for years. You may say that "expert" Mac/Linux users don't get viri, well, "expert" Windows users don't get viri either.
Besides, friendly viri beat unfriendly viri anyday.
"Hey viri, there is a bully at school, could you hax his internets for me?"

Windows RG: The successor to Vista.
w4r3z kiddies = bittorrent users? nice.
Not to be a douchebag, but this is right up there with people spelling "lose" with two Os.
The discs must be easier to clean.
http://www.autopatcher.com Problem solved. Oh, and it's much better than Windows Update, too. Imagine that.

Perhaps they stopped running into things? *shrug*

You have 25 minutes to write an essay on [random prompt].
Did I mention that this will decide your future?
Go.
I'm sure stress has nothing to do with it.

Now I just feel like a troll. :(
Off topic, but are there any rather exceptional indie bands on Myspace that you know of, and could you provide a link?
Why would anyone download a song off of Myspace? Honestly, i'd really like to know. Wouldn't it be easier to stick your head in a toilet and start screaming about your ex?
Are they the same company, now? Vista and the PS3 are both heading the same direction, it seems.

Users are stupid.

Every time I install a "NEW!" Firefox extension made "JUST FOR ME!", I get a free iPod. ;)
