    The internet and search engines make record labels useless. Rather than adapting, they bitch, moan, and sue people without computers.
    Open source *is* the solution to everything. If Windows wasn't the only OS that ran [most] games, i'd switch to anything else in a second. If it's open source, it's made to work, not made for profit like every other piece of trash on the market.

    At first, crawlers/bots/etc would search for plaintext emails, now that they can easily search mass quantities of code, wouldn't this make it easier for crawlers to find emails hidden in code also? I have little to no idea what i'm talking about, but this is a bad thing, right?

    There are many IE lookalike skins/themes available for Firefox. FF does have a fairly slow initial loading time, but I think it's only the first time it loads during that session, otherwise it's near instant. There are several tweaks available also, but i've never looked into anything dealing with launch delays.

    My professor said that Wikipedia isn't a valid source "because anyone can edit it".

    How is Wikipedia not a valid source? Anyone can put anything on their website and call it factual. Anyone can put anything in a book and call it factual. Any source is factual as declared by the author, so why not Wikipedia?

    I trust the collaboration of thousands over one person - whether they are anonymous or not. Besides, I always use more than one source.

    PCs have more users.
    Users are stupid.

    As said above, it's going to be incredibly funny when Macs and Linux have a decent userbase and begin receiving little gifts that PCs have put up with for years. You may say that "expert" Mac/Linux users don't get viri, well, "expert" Windows users don't get viri either.

    Besides, friendly viri beat unfriendly viri anyday.
