Why do people see the two mediums as being so distant? What passes as an R for a movie, would be an AO for a game, like Manhunt.

Agreed, but I would think that the the R would be more like M cause you can watch them at 18 without an adult but AO would be more like X or rather NC-17 because they mostly gain the rating for the explicit sexual content.

Indeed, I make the argument that we evolved the large brains because for mate deception because this had to precede most other uses. we evolve out of need. we need to survive (avoide predators and eat) and reproduce. we clearle don't need language to do any of these. the short version of the argument is this. so many creatures get away with having a small brain so it can't be essential, we had to evolve it as a side effect of something else. we are one of few species that don't have a mating season, don't clearly advertise ovulation and daddies dont know who's child their mate is having till after it's born. females cheat to get a more genetically fit mate while keeping a well nested mate. (women cheat on rich husbands with more attractive guys to get better children.) but that reason all happens subconsciously. if reproduction required the brain to be involved actively(contentiously). life would have gone extinct a long time ago. (i got this from a class I just took feel free to research or share the knowledge)

despite the authors' claim that monogamy benefits women, because they could share a wealthy man, the reality is, this is not really a benefit. Thank you! thats why cheating evolved. One of the possible reason we developed large brains is because we were trying to outsmart our mates. (Got any other reasons) Sexual dimorphism (men are taller than women) has more to do with female choice, which can still be exhibited in a monogamist society. Can you tell the difference between a male and a female chimp without being able to see the huge balls? and they are the most violently polygamist species? there have been conjectures of our preferred face to face position due to our bipedalism encouraging a more intimate relationship.
