    1. Flip Write switch on.

    4. Flip Write switch back off.

    Luxury! All the users I know wouldn't read far enough to see that checkbox and would just make it a habitual part of their computer use to click Cancel each and every single time it pops up for years.

    My girl's first comment was "No, you can't have it back yet" when I asked after an hour. She already knows to use Firefox instead of IE. She avoids MSN as well. Maybe the OS isn't the problem ;) To be fair, she still won't give up her Windows install, so I feel your pain.

    In my experience, capital letters don't matter to a web browser. That's more on the local side of the web server if you have a case-sensitive file system. I completely agree with you about the dashes and underscores, though.

    So then Mr. Spammer decides to let a few legitimate pill-vendors (ambien.pillz, etc.) in at the beginning. Maybe even gives them free domains. Get the traffic going, let this become "safe" in the public eye. Now, unleash the fury after it is impossible to block the domain without taking out the very reputable cheap.pillz.
