    Same here, I was set to buy a PS3 in its first year but the removal of backwards compatibility made me delay the buy. Then came the rootkits, OtherOS removal and more and more screw-ups, so I'm not getting one anymore.

    But now, I might as well upgrade my desktop PC with a new AMD processor (screw you Intel will your ever changing sockets) and motherboard. Yes, I'll be missing out on some games but I barely have time to play the ones I already have.

    My default login for my PC is a non-administrator account in WinXP SP2 and I have encountered very few programs that refuse to run (like RivaTuner) without escalating user-rights. And for these programs I have "Run as..." in Explorer or the "runas /user:Administrator" in the Command Prompt. -C2

    STP is a very common technology here in Brazil, especially in households that use it to heat water to be used in the shower (replacing our famous electric shower heads). Some industries also use it to pre-heat water that they use in the manufacturing process, saving millions of dollars every year. -vava
