The Wii isn't a fad. I don't understand how fun games and a new different way to paly them is a fad. Nintendo takes more risks then MS or Sony. MS thinks its a good idea to go out and ask people what they want in a(n) video game or oppertating system. Nintedo is smarter then that. If the most famous inventors asked people what they want nothing would have been invented. Many people thought that the phone,computer, plane and many other things were fads. I'm not saying that the Wii is in that class of inventions.

I think Sonys a sinking ship. After the whole PS3 flop coupled with the PSP flop and I won't even attack the whole battery situation. This seems like a last ditch desperation move. If sonys around in 10 years I'll be surprised. When the gamecube flopped gameboy and its many different variations pulled it through.Sonys cash cow doesn't exist. Sony had more negative hype at release then any console ever. The release titles were tragicly bad exculding Resistance Fall of Man. Gameplay pwns HD.
You are a fool if you think BC is going to be fixed. There are going to be more bugs then you can imagen they're always are. The worst part about blizzard is they always underestimate their numbers. There was a patch during the summer that had extend maintenance all servers were down for the better part of 12 hours. Then they choose to bring up 5 servers. Those 5 servers were zerged harder then ever before.
I do agree it was harsh to call it "worst hand-held ever" but you took that right out of context. I said as far as hardware went. The game gear did eat batteries like no other but was better hardware. As far as the psp playing like a console it plays like an outdated console. They Jam as many polygons in as they can and it looks worse then the PS1. Gameboy wasn't always about being on the go either. I played alot of gameboy games at home with an ac adapter and a snake light. Nintendo knows its limits. Mario 4X4 is crisp and looks good. The thing that bothers me is Nintendo is always been called "childish" compared to Sony and MS. When the truth is Mario makes games more fun. Jak and daxter and Ratchet and clank are Sonys answer to Mario style games. I guess fun games are childish.
If the Wii had no effect on the DS sales then Nintendo is making more money which is the point of the article. As far as the war between the DS and the PSP the French put up more of a fight in WWII. GameBoy has taught Nintendo alot. The original was the single worst hand-held of its time as far as graphics and hardware go. It did so well because of the games. Sony didn't learn its leason. Who wants to play crappy games in HD( if you spend the extra money to get the cable and an HD TV)? Nintendo's about fun Mircosoft is about power Sony is about 3rd place.
Weather or not that Global warming is just a warm tend or will destroy the planet will not be decided in my life time or the next. I believe that the time spent on Global warming should be spent on problems we know we have and should fix like aids and third world country progression. We can play a waiting game on global warming and gather more data in the years to come but now it's a waste of time to make things up.
Microsoft could give away 1/2 of its total capital and still have enough money to run people out of their companies. Microsoft is a company that expoilts everything and everyone. It's the second most evil company behind Walmart. Microsoft hinders innovation by stomping out new ideas. Apple has fought throught it and now the EU is too. The fines are a slap on the wrist at best. I hope the EU does more then America did to MS.

You can't buy a more biased magazines then those two. While Nintendo doesn't make bad 1st party games sony does. Macs were so sick of getting there ass kicked they made a good OS.I grew up with Macs sucking hardcore. I always believed that a mac was flashy and didn't do anything. My girlfriends brother in law showed me Mac OSX and it's so amazing it shouldn't count as a Mac OS. Is chess is an online game if you play it through yahoo? Chess was a game way before you could play it on the internet so people already knowing how to play it can easily pick it up online. I don't think that girls are playing video games like guys are just because when I was young I played video games as much as my parents would let me. I'm not saying that girls aren't good at video games but it's alot easier to pick up anything when your younger. Games that don't count as far as real video games include Mario party and Mario Kart. Mario party requires no skill period.

I'd say that Half Life 2 is a super Charged Halo 2 but that would belittle Half Life 2.
