Same with movies... when LOTR came out on the internet TONS of people downloaded it AND then went to the theater to go see it... probably more than would have gone if it wasnt leaked on the net...

i Do agree that the police and everyone overraceted, but at the same time there was a bag left in one of the subway stops that was suspicious, and at the same time they find these weird looking things that look like its possible there is a pipe bomb on the bottom of it...
i am glad that they did overreact because a bomb can look a lot less high tech than that...

what can you do... people are right, it was a good publicity stunt, but at the same time it was stupid to do that without letting someone know that you are going to be putting these things all over the city...

If only microsoft, Sony and Nintendo could get together and have a "global" network with all three systems and even PC maybe (gamespy? or one of those guys?) and let people that have say Ghost Recon for the 360 play against people with the PS3... or even a global store where you could buy the things once... When i get the Wii and IF i get the PS3, i really dont want to pay for all 3... with Live costing 40/year or whatever it would be good to get a deal on all 3...
360+wii = 60 360+wii+ps3 = 90
where all seperate could cost people 120+ a year!
but we'll see... Nintendo seems to have things going the right way with rumors of being able to download old nintendo games (whether it be for free or not we'll see).
Also Microsoft seems to already be rolling with their network set up while the PS3 will have to work out all of their bugs that Microsoft worked out with the first XBOX... Nintendo also might have the same problems that Sony will have, but who knows...

its sad to say, but this is what it comes down to... there are too many illegal immigrants in the US... and im sure we were all devestated by the work stoppage but it is a problem and it needs to be fixed... SO... you can give the people that are already in the US a chance to be citizens and have them pay taxes (which they all seem to "want" to do but dont) and anyone else that wants to come over the border to work can get zapped with a tag that tells people how long they are going to be working and everything...

I had discussed this in one of my classes, and a $600+ system is too much for a gaming system, especially when the nintendo is going to be half of that... even xbox is rumored to be lowering their prices when the wii comes out...
and if you go for the lower end system, you dont get the blue ray, right?
bah and i wanted to see GTA4 (hopefully the 360 will put it out... or are they?)

it is from December 2004, but it has been "hacked" and done, and i agree... Apple needs a tablet... but i dont like the "new" patent (from the 10th) i think they need to take a page out of Gateway's book with their tablet...
They do all look good and i didnt go through all of them, but no one chose different colors at all... unless i missed something, did they need to stick with the green?
im not very creative, so im not saying anything, but it would have been interesting to see some different colors or something... maybe the possibility of having multiple skins that the user can set...?

i think the versatility of having a laptop or a tablet is great... not everyone wants JUST a tablet, but a lot of people want or could use both...
but the new laptops are cool, trendy like the RAZR phones (which i have... the black razr is so much better than the silver! hehe)
