The DARPA device is most certainly an improvement, but consumer IMU's are rather small nowadays too - for instance this one: http://www.pololu.com/catalog/product/1268 (just ordered one)
Could these be called playbacks? Recording medium is the cosmic background microwave signature in the fabric of the universe, and these are playbacks of it at various speeds.
There's a skew factor set that's not a part of the recent rather nicely oscillating glacial cycle or that wasn't a part of the past weather extremes. I'd say normal weathers are those which happen in an environment without the excessive human energy input. The whole planet is affected whether you were or weren't part of it. When the input ceases and the planet response fluctuations ease that's the new normal. Although the coming down period if it happens will probably create a new balance seeking process.
As I said the setup is highly subjective and the differences are certain when you are very intimate with the source material. The degradation in the quality and sound field can be heard.
Mp3 for example is anyway and ancient format created for the bandwidth and storage limits of the time. Suddenly back then the linear progression in the quality of mass produced consumer sound went backwards (vinyl - c-cassette - cd - mp3). Now it seems quality is coming back to at least where it was left.
The difference can be heard. All you need to do is to produce and mix your own music at 24bit/48khz (real instruments) and then at the end of the session compress it to any level mp3. The mp3 sound field is full of holes, phase distortions and other typical artefacts. In any case the lossless formats are more archivable.
I don't really think so. Satellite devices like watches and glasses are the next layer of abstraction for smart phones, which have become so big and powerful. Basically you could just carry the cpu or a connectivity component (cpu power can too be shared), and wear yourself with various screens and other paraphernalia to make the device whole. The ubiquitous computing is steadily moving forward.
Yeah, now you would only need to replicate all of the growing up with the same parents + experiences and still you would end up with strange people just looking like you. Could make a nice bunch anyway.
True. The url was chosen because of a proxy for the real thing is http://www.piraattilahti.org./ TPB is uneffectively blocked by a court order, which doesn't even include all of the TBP owned url's directing to the main site.
One subfolder of the.fi spoof page even includes an ad script of TPB... Well copied:)
... and you'll find that people no longer have PCs at the office, they've got 'surface pro 3' with full blown M$ Office on it - and by that time it will run 10 hours on a charge.
Why focus on one device, when the variety of devices will only grow. The OS can be streamed as an interactive video on to whatever device you might have, and you'll be able to use any software of any platform. The ultimate thin client will only have a screen and the necessary connectivity. Even the processing power can be outsourced and shared between devices. The wireless communication tech is not quite there yet, but it's a pretty sure eventuality that the devices become lighter, diverse in design and size - and energy efficient. Well, almost anything can act as a necessary screen too..
No need to wage a war anymore. Anybody who opposes the measures are enemies of the fatherland. The fear itself has become the enemy - the subconscious and the maintenance of the earthly bodies is controlled by mega corporations. It's a handy plan - everybody becomes a drone.
Yes. That exactly makes the privatization of the military functions rather suspect. The system is eroding because few people deliberately act on their selfish interests. You don't have to be a common criminal to become supportive of a fascist regime, as many actual experiments have shown. Many people would actually support the government, if their now subjected desires are legally unleashed.
I think it's a bit more complicated than that. First of all I'd guess you don't want to militarize the society and so help to sell the franchise of war. That would all go nicely into the pockets of the military-industrial complex. Secondly military is there to protect the second amendment - or that's how it should at least be. Military is traditionally independent from the politics. For them it should not matter if there was or wasn't the second amendment. The fight would not then be against the military, but against the politics.
It's tragic how much the defense of the 2nd amendment is exploited to promote militarization, when instead peace should logically be promoted. The less a state has arms the better - while upholding the citizen's right to bear arms.
The debate on the health effects is a practical straw man for the corporations, whose strategic objective is to own the food supply. While the ecological and human health impacts are being wildly discussed the food production chain is owned by fewer and fewer of companies, and the natural connection of a farmer to the land is severed. Companies like Monsanto are creating a subscription based agriculture.
One's 'private' Facebook is already infested with ads on every content, so users are used to the fact that their space is invaded. Once the ads appear on your video phone call streams hardly anyone will protest and question the practice...
If the universe is infinite then how would this single structure challenge the principle of the universe being same in every direction... Observable universe is in any case rather small take of the totality.
This. I'd say the biggest drawback is the pseudo 3D that's been projected on a flat surface. Looking at a 2D production is practically as 3D, except for some superficial gimmicks. The cinema screens and the goggles should cover the whole eye sight. Beside that the flickering because of the current 24fps doesn't help.
It's actually a pretty enjoyably experience to go and see some theatre plays - there's a real 3D presentation, and the connection with the actors can be intimate. In the future we'll probably see some really interesting productions, where the physical and the illusionary worlds get more intertwined together...
I've been thinking that could it be possible to use wifi signals to have a radar. The packets carry a unique identifier, and if those packets come from multitude of sources, different directions and in different phases it should be possible?
That's the reason why radio stations want to be as loud as possible, and use overwhelming dynamic compression on anything. The result mimics noise where continuous power is practically resting at 0db. That combined with already dynamically limited source material means that the output is total garbage of sound waves.
So they don't actually have an automatic system for picking up the content of interest? That's hardly believable.
According to one drone operator they have at least a recording system which helps to label smaller than adult size human objects on two legs as four legged dogs.

True. In the end the security checkpoint will be built in the door frame of your home.

Following the current paradigm we would end up having high class privatized prisons full of CEOs working at a lower rate.

True, I also wash my bags regularly. I've noticed it's especially good with chicks.
So it's a piezoelectric setup?

The direction of the density change also indicates that there's some kind of a vacuum cleaning operation going on.
