The anti-vaxxer I know has been one for well over 20 years, since before even Jenny McCarthy.
She got her "information" from a midwife. From what I understand the midwife community in my country is riddled with anti-vaxxers. I don't know why, they have to get a BSc to practise.
I would think the science bit of the BSc would rule that sort on nonsense out, but apparently not.
Now you're going to get a whole bunch of replies about how great the Zune was and how much better than the iPod it was and it should have won.
Yeah, I know.
Confusingly in Queensland it's footy and might refer to Rugby League if you're a Broncos fan, or Australian Rules Football if you're a Lions fan.
In Perth, Melbourne or Adelaide footy refers to Australian Rules Football. Nothing else really matters during the winter.
I agree with you entirely, but people seem to like the DC and Marvel stuff, for the same reason they like McDonald's .
It's safe and familiar, and you know what you're going to get because it's the same every time.
The problem with expecting the tax load to fall on everyone but the very wealthiest, is that when that idea has been tried, it ended in a succession of wars: here's an example.
One of the revolutionary demands was equality before the law, as in many monarchies in Europe the nobility were the only ones electing the legislature, and paid no tax. Bloodshed ensued.
And meanwhile, in the real world those 57 year old guys who have spend 30 years working at the company can just pack up and find another job.
Oh, hang on. No, they can't
The multi-billion dollar corporation I work for is doing just this to the guys who make the products we sell right now.
Endless cost-cutting has resulted in poor quality, meaning customers leaving. Guess who is being told they have to take a pay cut?
If you've guessed the CEO I have a bridge to sell you.
I feel pretty much the same. I tried several KDE distros and after a few months switched to Ubuntu with their Gnome setup.
It was kind of death by a thousand cuts. Not awful, just not quite right.
The commenters above trying (and failing) to defend the Republican Party's attack on Net Neutrality via the FCC are well aware of the points you make.
They're just happy to be good little serfs, defending their betters.
Rappers don't have any money, despite what you might see in their videos.
The latest one accused of rape couldn't even come up with bail money.

Zune Brown? Doesn't he play for the Green Bay Packers?
Now you're going to get a whole bunch of replies about how great the Zune was and how much better than the iPod it was and it should have won.

Why would forced arbitration even be legal?

The difference here is that we don't have to try to negotiate with our employer. We also have 20 days paid annual leave by law.
Like Oliver North maybe? The Chinese are just more honest about who gets let off and why.
I've never seen what you're talking about actually happen.
The law in New Zealand is quite clear. If a holiday falls on the weekend, it moves to Monday or Friday (depending).
Did you ask Stu? It might have been him.

Nobody is arguing Amazon are breaking the law.
The argument is that the law ought to be different.

Amazon don't want to pay tax. They want to profit from doing business in a developed country. They just don't feel the need to help pay to maintain one:
$11.2 billion in profits means you pay -0.1% federal tax. Nice.
