Yes we call it Earth. Would you actually believe there's also something else than USA? Or you thought there are only native english speakers. Those with correct and those with broken english? LOL:)
It's beyond me while people always fall in love with such crap. Or is it a some kind of relax when you turn off your brain partially and watch Star Trek for example?
It doesn't make sense to me right now using already some OS and some browser to run another "OS", which is not an OS.
But it might be interesting research for future when we get some WebTV capable of running AJAX code. But WebTV would need CD burner or atleast USB so we can save files on stick;-)
I have many friends relying on Debian servers, now they're a little bit worried about security. I think Debian is more about stability, that doesn't always mean secure.
I think SkyOS author (Robert Szeleney) is trying to make his operating system better than others. It's about freedom of choice, if you don't like Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, you may go for more alternative operating systems. Also he is trying to catch up with latest eyecandy like compositing, transparency and shadows. If he got reasonable pricing also, his operating system might be good for hobbyists using computers for simple task like e-mail, web surfing, IM etc.
Nobody was expecting this is legal as site is located in Russia. Sure by purchasing from them you break the law, but again it's in Russia and nobody will sue them or shutdown their servers.
Is it all that trustworthy? I mean PayPal or Google or whoever else? In my country goverment is guaranteeing and protecting your money only in banks, other non-bank companies can easily bankrupt and nobody will return your money.
I think it is. And also hiding all information behind one (social security whatever number you have) is not very safe. You can start getting snail-mail spam after you using that number, or credit card. I heard it happens often.
If EU starts taxing e-mails, people from EU will start using mail servers outside EU a little bit more.
I don't believe this is possible at all. Maybe charging local ISPs, but still sounds crazy to me.
Please stop that hype about Vista. It's not even here... when it comes and is good, then start spreading articles about it.
It's similar to cars... a lot of hype of some upcoming car, but nobody knows yet if it's safe and how does it work. Just some pictures and hype hype hype;)
Please keep internet free, nobody is willing to pay again beside paying connection fees. That will be end of internet as it is... as somebody said here, I have tiers in my eyes:)
Instead of using JPEG2000 for example, or adopting DNG for RAW images they're bringing us another proprietary format. And I'm afraid when people adopt this format, MS will somehow lock-up people using DRM.
Finally a feature from movies becoming reality ;-)

Everybody wants to tell others about his success, happyness or important achievements and internet is the best place for that.

I'm just curious if there's somebody who bought something after seeing such spam. Isn't it just waste of time and bandwidth?

But they're not supposed to make standards, just follow them :)
What is this hype about? It's just IE again with all bugs and non-standardness :( Don't spread it please...
This is going to be buggy and introduce blue screen of deaths on mp3 devices. Why not inventing something new but just copying others? :-)

They don't have to support Linux, I don't remember other vendors really supporting Linux. It will just work as on other hardware...

3 years support for something that is completely free, you can't easily see that anywhere else! Go Linux! I will try to push Linux here.
I hope somebody can stop insanity like tracking all e-mails or even paying taxes per e-mail as suggested in EU.

Now I'm happy that my Windows is safe inside vmware and running only twice a month using Linux as host and firewall :)
The main problem of Vista is, there's no Vista yet. It's just some screenshots and something that will be available in future :)
Please stop that hype about Vista. It's not even here... when it comes and is good, then start spreading articles about it. It's similar to cars... a lot of hype of some upcoming car, but nobody knows yet if it's safe and how does it work. Just some pictures and hype hype hype ;)

I wish flight tickets to Japan were less expensive as it will be overpriced in Europe again :(

They should improve story a little bit, I heard it isn't the best one after all that hype.
