I own an iPhone, and this whole change of prices for the iPhone because of the new iPod just makes me feel like I was ripped off. Is that even legal? I mean, one of the main things we are buying when we buy stuff like that (the latest cool phone) is the notion that prices are remain the same for a while. I bought the phone a month ago and I feel tricked by Apple.
Since when is ColdFusion a high-level language? Just because they use it in MySpace? Dunno, perhaps because it compiles to Java, can actually be written OO-ish (objects, etc), can directly call or be called from java, and can genenerate JS as well. Have you ever done CF?

Indeed, which I why I only own about 5 N64 games; $60-70 is too much just for any old game. It must be GREAT. That is one thing that led me to buy a PS2. Tons of games for cheap. Even brand, A-list new games can be $30-40. I have a ton of PS2 games because of this. Hell, I have a ton of Gamecube games for my son because of the low price.
Speaking of which, I wish they would stop lumping some guy at home who burns a game from his buddy to play on his machine in with some guy in china who produces and sells tens of thousands of copies of a game. Oh great, another person riding the "blame the drug dealer not the junkie" wagon in attempts to make themselves feel better about stealing software. If you copy it without a license, it's illegal.
Anyway, I can't remember the last time I played a truly great id game, so I would say the real reason they had to start developing for consoles was to pick from a larger and less discerning player base. You're right, a high-brow gamer such as yourself wouldn't bother paying for such low-quality games (it's ok to copy them though!).
I agree though that going to the console side will reduce the left. For every person who has a mod'd console, there are hundres who are willing/capable of copying a PC disc.

I can't speak for the original phone, but the NGage-QD (the newest one) used games cards that slide in the side. It isn't under the battery at all. I bought it because it was a cheap bluetooth phone at the time. It's great for games, but horrible as a phone. It is unconfortable against the ear and the earpiece sound isn't nearly loud enough.
This is a worthless add-in. When someone wants to know the weather (while at home), they are supposed to not use the 3G phone in their pocket, not use the many weather channels or weather crawlers on the TV (which must be on to use the wii), not use their computer which exists for sure since they have highspeed, but instead boot up and the wii instead?
Waste of dev money. Makes me wasted man-hours like this is what made TP so very delayed.
Except for online games. With online-playable games, you will only find oppenents/allies online if you play the game within the first year or two of release. After that (or after a sequel comes out), there is non one online.
