Yes, and they do happily. Why? Because that lovely bit of bait on the hook is something they can't live without, or so they've been told. And the worm has been stuffed full of LSD.
That's the way mousing is supposed to be done, according to Cornell University's Professor Alan Hedge. You're apparently putting strain on your wrist tendons when you do all your mousing from your wrist.
Mouse movements should be made using the elbow as the pivot point, not the wrist.
Mouse from the Elbow - don't skate or flick the mouse with your wrist. Make controlled mouse movements using your elbow as the pivot point and keep your wrist straight and neutral.
I've had one of those (of slightly differing texts) every other day for the past couple weeks. Thunderbird flags it as suspicious, and even if it didn't, I'd still delete it anyway (yeah, like executables as attachments doesn't raise red flags all over the place anyway).
Hey, I'm in my right mind (as I'm left handed) and I could figure out graffiti writing (I still use Microsoft's knockoff on my PocketPC), you insensitive clod.
It's the same kind of person who likes using the Windows GUI for server config. It's just they way they want to do it; it feels easier to them; companies are well within their rights to keep that market segment appeased. Now, don't let that stop your CLI/GUI holy wars[jargon file], though (see many of the comments in the recent story stating netcraft confirms IIS gaining on Apache for a decent example of these kind of people as well as a ongoing holy war fought on the shores of our own beloved/.).
I, for one, welcome our GUI/CLI (circle one) overlords.
What was that, GameCodex? Half-assed, piece of shit implemention. "Oh, you can't download anything because your ratio is 0."... how in the world are you supposed to get a ratio greater than 0 when you can't get on anything? Oh, wait, use the RSS feed as a backdoor (which defeats the purpose of the ratio restrictions, by the way).
Slashdot on IE6 is so broken the "new discussion" hides titles, etc. Although I'm tempted to just blame IE6.
"Slashdot endorses Firefox by breaking IE6 functionality on thier site, news at 11." j/k. More like "Slashdot discourages work reading by breaking IE6 functionality on their site, news at 11."
Yeah, that was a fun movie. Interestingly enough, it did seem to rail against unfeeling corporatism.
Favorite scene was the "Al as John Rambo" one though, with Al in the helicopter screaming and landmarks exploding. Well, that and "THERE IS NOTHING IN ZE BOX!" For those of you who haven't seen UHF, I do recommend it--especially if you like quotable movies.
Agreed. Personally, I think the reason why sites default to "Black on White" is because it's the normal mode of the printed page. Sufficiently-contrasted light-on-dark schema do throw less energy at your eyes.
I'm still not spending $50 for a game with no appreciable single-player. That and I played the pen-and-paper game long enough to scream in pain after 10 minutes of that FPS.
I've been using it as an intermediary to keep my caldendar/contact data sync'd between my PocketPC and Mozilla Thunderbird. Then again, I've not used SugarCRM at all, so I'm a bit out of my field.
Why am I reminded of that bit in Heinlein's "Magic, Inc." story where the politician effectively stands up and rails against the use of magic? (It's then explained that the person is just appeasing his constituency.)
From Beginning of the End
Mike: We'll start the movie just as soon as our ride gets here...
Tom: They sense I'm Peter Graves...
Tom: Your Hover Buick will get you there in style. Hover Buick.

It's not evil, just ambitious and misunderstood.
No. Just... no. There isn't nearly enough screen real-estate on an iPhone to start with.

In other words, you spent your time learning Windows-based server management as opposed to linux-based.

Note that there do exist exemptions to the DCMA's 'do not circumvent' writing. Of course, I have no idea how much that'll help the crew of /.
Clarification: The Wii is region-locked.
The DS is not.
Sky Blue; Water Wet.
Smell that? It's the stench of burning karma.
Oh, great, so we get to extend the now-infamous Wiki popularity club to searches.
Tifa, duh. Although I know a moron or two who favored Yuffie...
Can you smell that? It's the stench of burning karma.

You say that like it's a bad thing. :D
You're forgetting that the PC version of Shadowrun is crippled to give the console players a chance. That's gotta be worth $10! http://shadowrun.com/backstage/controller_balancin g.htm

Try an old Thinkpad a22m with the P/M Mobility chip in it. Then you'll start screaming.
I got it working once. Once.
...required lots of power and expensive silicone. You've been giving your hard drives breast implants? How's that integration compare to Funambol with SugarCRM connector and Outlook plugin?
