I am a Droid user and ran my own experiment. I drew a bunch of lines in a drawing program and got waviness.

But what does this really mean? The Droid is not as good as the iPhone if you are buying it to use as a graphics tablet, but c'mon, who does that? I am able to use the web browser, keyboard, etc. with absolutely no problem. It seems to me that this article is just here to try to get publicity for the person who wrote it and the person that I will not name. :)

  2. I foresee a temporary solution. on IPv4 Will Not Die In 2010 · · Score: 4, Interesting

There are going to be lots of little solutions that will stretch out IPv4 for a while.

One that I came up would be to offer a financial incentive to reclaim unused blocks of addresses. Ten or fifteen years ago, IP address space was handed out like candy. You could get a class C block readily, and class B blocks just needed a little justification. I did some contract work in the late 90s for a company that I still keep up with, and they have a few entire C nets in their possession and not in use. Now how do we get these back? There is going to be demand for IP addresses, and as the supply becomes more and more limited, that demand will make people desperate.

So why not let people who already have address space sell what they have? It does reward unrightfully holding onto stuff, but if these addresses are needed, then hey!

Yeah, so I built my wife this machine because she's a technogeek and I'm off doing research support a couple weeks out of the month. As you can guess, it's a machine to satisfy her while I'm gone. It involves a 1/2hp 1140RPM 3-phase motor with a 120V single phase drive. It strokes between 30RPM and 1140RPM as I have it configured now.

Now here's where the interesting stuff comes in. The wife wanted to use the machine on me. I was a bit turned off at first, but she said that she would be willing to do anything for me if I tried it, so I agreed. (That paid off a few hours later!) We, let's say, flushed me out, and got to business. Lots and lots of lube and the wife's Jollet dildo. We started slow and worked it in. Didn't start getting fun till we popped open the amyl nitrites. After about five minutes at quarter speed, I was having the most intense feeling for my life for about thirty seconds. Didn't even touch myself. I'm not gay but have been getting some of this ever since.

By the way, this study is FUD. I participated in a lot of psychological research, and the study has no sound basis.

Nevermind that the change of IPv6 was defined twelve years ago and that we have not even come close to a realization of it as simple as it is. Now I'm not going to bash Jobs by any means! He has started the downfall of Windows or at least has taken a nice bite out of M$'s market share. He has changed the music industry for the better--think iTunes where you can almost get a song for what it's worth for once! He has produced the most popular, most advanced phone on the planet. He has made so many simple "why didn't I think of that?" products that still have not been paralleled even by copying. Every Apple product is distinctly an Apple product!

I personally would have said that Bush was the most influential person of the decade. He was the most powerful man in the world for eight years. He made an enormous power grab for the executive branch, changed how the country views terrorism (be scared, very scared), and brought several countries into two wars, one of which is hopefully mostly over, and the other with no end in sight. Also, under his watch, the worldwide economy took an enormous tumble due to his lax policies, with considerable help from previous presidents, especially Clinton and Reagan. To me, his influence was far greater than anything Jobs has done.

It was not until the introduction of the i486 that the SX had no coprocessor and the DX had a built-in coprocessor.

This makes me wonder in case this is true. We are running up to a physical limitation in the human brain. People already have trouble memorizing the dozens of 8character passwords. 9 characters will hold moores law off for a few more years (not the precise meaning of moores law but you know what i mean). The problem is also that people are getting more accounts for things. Most people even today use the same passwords for a variety of things. I'd say almost all people.
