  16. Re:Strong Titles? on Sony Shifting PS3 Marketing to Focus on Blu-Ray · · Score: 1

Agreed. The PS3 was not a good early adopters machine, most of the good games on the PS3 at launch played better on the M$'s cheaper console and without any decent exclusives this year, makes the PS3 deserve its last place position right now.

Blu-Ray will not save this box, price cuts and good exclusive content will.

The Wii is in 1st place in large part because of its price. hy wont they get that through their thick skulls?

  17. My 2 cents on Croal vs. Totilo - Metroid Prime 3 vs. BioShock · · Score: 1

Ive yet to play either but both are games that I am looking foward too. Definatally when I get my new video card, BioShock is top of the list. Its one of those games that seem to stand out in a world flooded with the same stuff. It looks sweet, looks like it handles sweet and if it has stratergy other than running and gunning, it's a good thing. I quite liked the previous Metroid Prime games. The first and second Primes are still to this day my fave 1st person expereince of this decade, I felt it stayed true to the series. Throw in a control scheme that I feel was made for FPS's I cant wait for Corrupion (In australia we have to wait till November). Hunters is fun online but no Counter Strike and I am very disapointed about lack of online multiplayer as Hunters showed it could be done. I personally have not been impressed with what Ive seen with Halo 3, I could be supprised with the final version but I am not expecting much. So far it looks like BioShock and Corruption are worthy contenders for GOTY while Halo 3 will make it on fame alone. Nobody forget we got plenty of AAA titles on the way: Assassins Creed, MSG4, CoD4, Crysis, DMC4, RE5, SSBB

  21. We're pretty pissed on Creationists Silence Critics with DMCA · · Score: 4, Informative

These flagging have been carried out by Dr Dino's son Eric Hovind. The RSS got involved after RabidApe got suspended and Sapient was basically sticking up for RabidApe. Eddygoombah and co have also been on the receiving ends of takedowns but as far as I know, the RSS and RabidApe are the only ones that have actually been suspended as a result of Hovind's illegal activities.

I have yet to have any of my videos flagged, but I know many people that have. We are really pissed to say the least

Oh and Eric Hovind sent an email to Sapient asking him to "call" Hovind. Sapeient replied that under the circumstances it would be best to talk via email and say any reply will be publicly shown and can be used in a court of law and any reply would be a verification of that. Hovind has yet to reply.

All video's that have been taken down were in full compliance with "fair use". To make matters worse for Hovind, all material used was public domain anyways, the copyright archives (http://www.copyright.org/records) contain no filings reflecting any change from public domain to copyrighted material.

Check out http://www.rationalrespnders.com/ to keep updated on the situation.
