I think they may be able to afford IBM's legal fees and stay alive if they fire enough people. Mind you, the lawyers representing them could buy out SCO and continue litigation, best to keep it dragging. Just say IBM's legal bill is $2 million and they have $4 million in cash reserves, best leave it until SCO is just dry, then SCO will be forced to liquidate stuff and sell stuff, that way they cannot come back. After this basically backfiring (as expected) Microsoft will not pick them up, neither will Novell or IBM, once it is official in courts that SCO's IP (if it really is SCO's) is basically useless in litigation after trying EVERYTHING the lawyers wont pick them up either. Leave them run themselves out, it will force SCO in to liquidation

The thought of Dell supporting 50 distro's is laughable, nobody would doubt that. I don't think anyone here would think supporting 10 distro's would be reasonable. They want to support 1 distro maybe 2 (business and personal) but 1 distro would be beneficial for them. Most people would think thats fair, only if THEIR distro of choice is one of them. My idea is is Dell do deals with Novell, Red Hat or Canonical where they DONT HAVE TO support it, where the OS vendor's do their own support and part of the OS price goes to the distro. Personally I think a distro needs to blend in the best features of different distros Ubuntu has the brilliant base and has alot of support from the community Linspire has the codecs and drivers making it perfect for the home market, it is also switching to the Ubuntu base SUSE has all the office and AD compatibility that make it perfect for business, especially ones migrating away from a Windows environment An Ubuntu base with Linspie's codecs and SLED compatibility add-ons = something OEM's would probably love to embrace So far Novell seems to be in the best position to deliver this as CNR is set to extend to SUSE Linux, unfortunately SLED is not free.

I am willing to be AT LEAST 52.9% are Christians 4)(this can be put under #2) but with all the problems in the world, they seem to be all for a "war on indecency" which limit's peoples freedoms 5)They are so pushy, every day I get annoyed by some fucking Christian group wanting me to join, sometimes I say not interested they leave me alone, other times they will annoy me telling me im going to burn in hell and everything till I tell them I will press charges if they don't fuck off 6) Thou shall not murder, unless its war which is mass murder (merges into #2) 7) they don't respect other peoples beliefs, its ok to respect Christianity, but if a Christian sees an atheist, or someone from Islam etc, they think "he/she is just misguided" where they are either pitted or looked down upon 8) Ignoring facts, #3 is just blaitent stupidity but uses the same example. They look at actual facts yet they think evidence right infront of them is a less credible source than a 1700 year old book 9) Misconceiving their own faith, nowhere in the bible does it mention that the earth was 6000 years old, its Christian ideology, so if they believe the earth is 6000 then they also have to believe the earth is flat and placed smack bang in the middle of the fucking universe 10) Trying to push their religious beliefs on to the political system, hence pushing their religious beliefs onto EVERYBODY, its arrogant and quite frankly insane They claim to love freedom but freedom and dogmatism are complete opposites
