Hypercard and Hyperstudio! I played around making all sorts of silly games, slowly learned how to add in some scripting on my own, tinkering about. Had a course in highschool that went into more depth, and then a class in Java.

I hope that this is an indicator of a 128 GB iphone in the future. I've held off on getting a smartphone for years because if I'm going to get more high tech gadgetry then I want it to replace my mp3 player, and 64 GB would not cut it.

That mark is useless without the table that tells you what each distance represents. So on that matchstick you haven't stored data, merely a hash of that data.

Incorrect: as long as you can measure that mark as a distance with arbitrary precision you can use that to convey any amount of data. For instance, your distance could be 0.7269767679 mm, which, with a simple 1:1 dec to ascii conversion is 0.HELLO, assuming you use fractions of a millimeter for your data. See? With infinite precision comes infinite data. Infinite precision is, of course, difficult to impossible in the real world, but that's never stopped me before.

Of course, this is just an argument I've heard, [citation needed].

I'm not quite sure how Obama is getting lumped up in this. Has he come out in favor of this bill? If not, please stop with the ridiculous "Change we can believe in" slogan waving.
