    Dynamic languages are not the same as functional languages, at least not in the way they're referring to here. Dynamic languages refer to dynamically typed languages, usually scripting languages, like Python, Ruby, Perl, PHP, etc. where they don't have explicit variable types. It's more complicated than that, but that's a basic explanation. Functional programming is another thing entirely.

    For pure Python and Ruby implementations? Probably not. But, IronPython is a wonderful way of introducing scripting into an application. You can hook IronPython into say, a C# application, provide variables/classes/etc. from the code side, and have it execute a user script with the given data. And dynamic languages like this can be embedded with only a few lines of code.

    How is this a gift card? It's just an in-game item redeemable for game time, that you are capable of paying for cash with. You can't take cash back out.

    I'm pretty sure that was CCP's justification for letting people undock with PLEXes in their cargo. If you're smart, you won't do it!

    I can't see how it could be considered a gift card. They have no physical monetary value once you buy them (only in-game value), and you can't pull real cash back out from it in any form. It's just another in-game item (that happens to be capable of giving you 30 days of play time)

    As far as I'm aware, fences are required to prevent liability, though I think that's with your home insurance, not the government.

    So tell them, there's no pool here anymore, they come check and see there's no pool, and now it's not a problem. It's not like you can just up and hide a pool you needed a permit for in the first place.

    I believe most badges are numbered, and you could likely just call up the police to verify the number. Whether the officer lets you or not is a different story, but still.

    Well, if you don't plan on actually using the recovery disk (if you, say, have a copy of the Windows install DVD, and know how to install your own drivers) then you can just get rid of the partition.

    I still burn a recovery disk from the machine, just to be safe, but then promptly wipe the whole drive clean with a new Windows install.
