Money grabbing bastards. If it wasn't for trade-ins and 2nd-hand game sales a lot of people wouldn't be able to afford games and with this mandate, prices of used games would go up and the value of trade-ins would go down. If they want more people buying new games, how about not making them cost £50 a pop for a new next-gen game?
If they want to make money off of used games, sell some worthwhile DLC. By that, I don't mean CliffyB's idea of selling the final boss to 2nd hand buyers, I mean add-ons to the main game. I doubt Harmonix worry about used-game sales of Rock Band because if they love the game, they will buy more songs.
The only way I want to see politics and games interact is with Sarah Palin being blown up in Mercenaries 2.
I don't know if the FA says what it is (restrictive webfilter here) but can we speculate? Russian flag? Area 51? His giant pet wooly mammoths?
It's a good thing that they're not using altered images anymore, but will this go for touched up photos of celebrities and the like? If not, that for me would be a double-standard.
I'd be surprised if they didn't, especially with a real Halo sequel from them not coming in some time.
Their relationship with the Halo community has been excellent and while I don't forsee them making a patch for HD loading speed improvements, I would be very surprised if there wasn't at least new maps in the future for Halo 3.
My god, someone at MS found the wonder of the alphabet!!!
Honestly, browsing to find DLC is now easy as you don't have to scroll through every game to find the game that you want, you just click on the letter then find the game. That, to me, is by far the NXE's best feature.
Yeah, Sports Interactive have said that their new Football Manager game can be sold second hand, because the activation code can be unlicensed and re-used.
They make a new iteration every year so they probably have the same idea of getting people hooked on the game
You can turn on a white dot for the centre of the screen which actually helps with the motion sickness by giving you something to focus on while you play.
On a side note, I'm surprised EA are taking chances with new IP and even gameplay mechanics now. Sure, they have their yearly sports franchises and they have announced that this and Dead Space are going to be trilogies, but it's surprising how EA have brought out some fairly original games instead of generic-army-FPS-2009, forcing Acti-Blizzard to step up to the plate to become the new evil, un-inspired publisher for gamers. As long as you stick to consoles, that is. No DRM here..... This generation.....
Of course there was a more favorable approach towards Obama, for all the reasons stated in the summary. I'd like to see a like-for-like comparison of Obama and McCain stories before the Republican sideshows of Sarah Palin and "Joe the Plumber" were introduced, because I did feel a lot more hate once they were on-board
The press over here in England still seem to be focused on the historic occasion of an African-American in power. It is a good thing and it has been noted, but I wish they would get back to focusing on how the right man won, regardless of race and what he is planning to do come January.
If it's video ads make sure they are before the film (Or, I have seen on some other video sites, after the video, which is bizzare) and not during, then I'm great with this.
I don't even watch movies on free TV over here as I cannot have my film interrupted by the film being presented by some company followed by 5 mins of other ads. It's a real deal-breaker for me.
I've also seen those little banner ads come at the bootom of a streaming video which you can then click the 'x' to get rid of, that would be acceptable to me considering I'm watching the film for free.
Totally the opposite to my ex. She played it on easy and loved getting cultural or technilogical wins but it was really too easy and was so annoyed when you threw the skill level up, wars were more frequent. She played it a lot more online with some close friends with the same ideology without going to war.
I lent her Civ Revolution for the 360 and she actually broke a joypad in frustration, as all the other civs seem to want to do is fight in that game.....
I've gotta say, I'm in England and as soon as the clocks change, my power consumption goes way up. I don't even use heaters where I live so I've never worked out where it's coming from....
Our servers were recently moved to our sauna room to save space. Finally, a product that will work for all businesses who have done the same.
It worked for me! However, the ball looked a lot like a blue lowercase e and the second browser looked like a trashcan....
Can I throw a ball from one iPhone to another?
Why play catch when I can just sit on my butt to throw a ball?

I for one, welcome our ne.....
Damn you summary for stealing our memes!

I'll just download Second Life, that'll show him!
Anything but Fred, since that's my dads name.....
*shudder*
My g/f was looking over my shoulder and proclaimed she already had a pet wooly mammoth and looked at me :(
Bungie already said in their comment from one of the linked FA's in the summary, that "The risks of [patching Halo 3 to make it faster when installed] and the resources required has to be carefully considered against what could really be a rather insignificant change to the player experience"
Probably UXE. ULTIMATE XE.

I certainly would use those rants in my strategy. Changing business strategy > Chair to the face

What the hell are your programmers doing all day?
Not typing in shell commands in text messages?
Sorry, it was a lame joke on the name being terrible IMO :( I love Ubuntu and I dual-boot with XP
Please could you provide details of where to refund my bandwidth?
No bricking here and people over at http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?showtopic=5 18359 forums have confirmed games working still on Live. No banning/bricking at the time of this comment.
