Ban them all -- Coke, Pepsi, fizzy water. They leak significant amounts of CO2 into the atmosphere. While you are at it, ban volcanoes, particularly in Iceland.
If Israel has nuclear facilities and refuse to sign non-proliferation treaties, then it is a violation of federal law to send them foreign aid. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... The Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 was amended by the Symington Amendment (Section 669 of the FAA) in 1976. It banned U.S. economic, and military assistance, and export credits to countries that deliver or receive, acquire or transfer nuclear enrichment technology when they do not comply with IAEA regulations and inspections. This provision, as amended, is now contained in Section 101 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).
The Glenn Amendment (Section 670) was later adopted in 1977, and provided the same sanctions against countries that acquire or transfer nuclear reprocessing technology or explode or transfer a nuclear device. This provision, as amended, is now contained in Section 102 of the Arms Export Control Act (AECA).
Exactly! Take an old 7-8 year old Pentium dual core 3.40 GHz or similar, get a video card with HDMI, and wireless mouse, and run XBMC or VLC and save money by buying a dumb TV.
"The Federal Reserve has no plans to regulate Bitcoin (lacking regulatory authority)." It lacks regulatory authority because it is private and has the same authority as Bank of America, CitiBank, or American Express to try to regulate BitCoin.
Lewis was injured by a Federal Reserve vehicle and tried to sue under the Federal Tort Claims Act. It was thrown out.

Lewis v. United States, 680 F.2d 1239 (1982)
Plaintiff, who was injured by vehicle owned and operated by a federal reserve bank, brought action alleging jurisdiction under the Federal Tort Claims Act. The United States District Court for the Central District of California, David W. Williams, J., dismissed holding that federal reserve bank was not a federal agency within meaning of Act and that the court therefore lacked subject-matter jurisdiction. Appeal was taken. The Court of Appeals, Poole, Circuit Judge, held that federal reserve banks are not federal instrumentalities for purposes of the Act, but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations.
Federal reserve banks are not federal instrumentalities for purposes of a Federal Tort Claims Act, but are independent, privately owned and locally controlled corporations in light of fact that direct supervision and control of each bank is exercised by board of directors, federal reserve banks, though heavily regulated, are locally controlled by their member banks, banks are listed neither as "wholly owned" government corporations nor as "mixed ownership" corporations; federal reserve banks receive no appropriated funds from Congress and the banks are empowered to sue and be sued in their own names. . . .
Was this regulation only written for federal lands, dockyards, forts and buildings over which the Federal goverment has exclusive jurisdiction, or have they included specific language to say that it also applies in States of the Union? Were they saving ink when they failed to list the names of the 50 states in the definitions section?
In Moscow, after you go through the back-scatter machine, there is an attractive middle-aged blonde lady who uses her hands to touch the suspicious areas. I didn't even begin to think about complaining about this treatment. For some reason I fantasize about taping my spare kopecks to strategic locations on my body:)
I like to think that when the elevator doesn't show signs of coming to my floor, and I repeatedly push the button, that someone on a different floor and moving too slowly is caught in the doors:)
I love when I see third world people push the down button when they want to go up!
Every day, 100 foot wooden dhows travel between Iran and Dubai, UAE. Some carry horses and cars. Dubai's electronic stores are filled with Apple products. You do the math.

Violent gaming can provide a therapeutic release of anger that can benefit the players in real-life. Whenever a government blocks an activity that releases a tension, such as the gaming or prostitution, then statistics show a rise in bad activities that also release the tension, such as real violence, or sex crimes.

My graphics card is at 68C and goes up to 73-74C when it gets used by the games. It would be better to use the existing heat output from a computer to cook than to bother with USB. Maybe someone should build a custom case that looks like a hibachi grill on the top.

Quick, where is RMS? Can we arrange to have a copyleft GPL over missing persons? How do you copyright something that by definition is not there? Do they have a symbol for missing persons that they copyrighted?:)
I am in an area with a large Indian population (particularly Keralite). I see these ads (BHK/cum) all the time on the bulletin board at the super market, and I hear pain used as a verb all the time. I even heard a Filipina use this phrase, but she is married to an Indian:)
these idiots talk about carbon and not carbon dioxide? Does carbon monoxide warm the planet too? Or can we ignore chemistry and this is only about carbon? Ban pencils! I told one friend who is freaked about global warming to give up his soda pop. He said no:)
As geeks can have anxiety about approaching women, a salsa or country dance class is ideal. It really helps if you see the same people week after week and practice social skills and greeting everyone. Generally you rotate and dance with everyone, and it is quite possible to meet people where you like each other on an energy level, without much need to talk at first, especially since the instructor will yell at you if you are talking too much. From here, you build confidence and nature works its magic.
The body needs cholesterol to make testosterone.
Where do I complain about the fact that when I try to confirm my phone number, the SMS never arrives? As a result, I can't receive the tokens.

"My head is paining me" 'pain' used as a verb
"he is not lifting the instrument" 'He is not answering the phone"
2 BHK flat wanted 'BHK' = bedroom + hall + kitchen

How does avoiding the release of CO2 help prevent global cooling, which is our most pressing concern in the near future.
