If i were an African child i would relize that the factory would still be there regardless if gates invested in it or not and i would be greatful that i am immune to terrible diseases thanks to bill gates. Anyone who thinks this oil plant would dissapear if gates hadn't invested in it is a cretin.

I don't see how they can equate asking for payment for a service with greed.
Surely greed is demanding everything for nothing as if website owners owe you something.
It's nice that craigslist offers so many serives for free, but personally, I wouldn't think any less of him or his website if they were to charge or place ads on the site. He has bills to pay and mouths to feed just like the rest of us.

This is what all those people with copyright claims were waiting for. There would have been no point sueing youtube before, They had no money. Now youtube is owned by a group with very deep pockets it's time to go in for the kill.
because at the end of the day, What would copyright owners rather do? To send a C&D letter and have the content taken down? Or to have the video site constantly infringe on copyright which would mean the copyright owners can take them to court over and over again?
There is billions to be made from copyright infringment on the internet now. It's created a world of law-suites.
They could do it now simply by giving iPods highspeed internet access from anywhere.
As internet speeds get faster and faster it will mean we actually need to carry around less and less physical storage... Hell, Even now i can can download a song a lot quicker than it takes to listen to it and that's on regular 4mb braodband.
How dare Europe insist that Vista meets thier legal requirements to be released in thier countries. Don't they know Microsoft are a very rich american company, shame on them.
