MSDN Subscription? I still see Windows 3.1, Windows 3.11, Windows 3.2 (???), and Workgroups 3.11....even MS-DOS 6.0 and 6.22 if you are interested. I think they are there for some embedded system developers.
During college, I did work for an engineering firm doing AutoCAD. Same principal. The only hard part was switching between pen and puck on the tablet. I never found a good set up for that. Pen felt best in the left hand, but puck felt best in the right (since I'm a left handed writer and a right handed mouser). Some actions were better with the pen and others better with the puck.
You can if the photo contains artistic content.....for instance if you staged a photo of a bishop holding a Gutenberg Bible. The Bible would be public domain, but you'd hold copyright to the image.
Given the state of today's English language usage, I assume that there was confusion between Monopole and Monopoly. But I'm with you on the "WTF about only one photon" part.
But I don't want to fight the cat. I was thinking a set up more like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crookes_radiometer with the black being buttered and the white being unbuttered. Set it up horizontally and see how it "falls".
Not to mention having to do that research paper on dropping toast.....does it always land butter side down? What if both sides are buttered? What if neither side is buttered? Can you create some weird perpetual motion machine by buttering half of each side?
Still telnet based......you just happen to use your browser as the telnet client (or really as the launcher for the java telnet client). You can run java apps from the command line if you have the jar file local. No browser required.
So how is this any different that what we have now? How many "me too" games have you played that add nothing to their respective genres? Sure, these usually end up in the bargain bin within short order, but the industry is already derivative at times, so automating that part of the process is just a way to make that part of it cheaper.
Granted, I don't know if that will drive down the price of 2nd-tier games or cause more companies to make derivative drivel (*I'd* take a month's worth of profit at current prices for a game that I made simply by pressing the "make new game" button.).....but will it really change much? Unless a game is an A-tier game, they are quickly passed over based on reviews and word of mouth. The games with staying power offer something new and different which clearly won't be of the "push here for new game" type.
First and better don't have to refer to the same drawing.
He drew a map first. He drew a map better. His first map was not better, but his later map was. The structure of the statement in the summary doesn't exclude either interpretation.
I agree. I've worked the 4x9 (7:30 to 5:30) with either an 8 or an off and really enjoyed it.....especially when the off Friday lined up with a three day weekend (Memorial Day for example). If you were working an 8 hour day, it wouldn't be uncommon to work 9 or 10, so the 9 isn't bad (in fact, I found that with 9 hour days, there were fewer times that I actually had to work late....I just goofed off less during the day). The hardest part is when you are there on a Friday and the person you need to work with is off. So you have to manage collaborative work better.
Another perk is that with the 7:30 to 5:30 hours, you miss the heavier traffic times of 8:00 and 5:00. There's still traffic, but it's not as bad.
Actually, I'll bet that the coders/engineers that work on Photoshop are really good at using the tool. They just aren't as artistic as some of their end users. Hence the term "Programmer Art" in game development. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Programmer_art
I don't know which is cheaper but what about: more shiping via truck and less shipping via boat? Even if the boat is cheaper (save in bulk) you have to divide the boat cargo up once it's across the water. Eastern Europe can cover more areas from trucks.
So by that logic, if you take the bag from the cashier before you hand them the money it would become a debt that they have to accept the $2 bill for but if you pay before you take the bag they can refuse them?
That's actually why it's billed as a form of barter (read their propa---err website). But to be honest, my comment was not to be taken that serious. Anyone who wears tinfoil hats and only purchases things with cash and any other "conspiracy nut" type actions lives what I consider a miserable life since they are always worried and can never relax.
And besides, nothing says EXCLUSIVE right to......etc. Just the right to do so. And it doesn't revoke the right from anyone else. Otherwise, those Commemorative Coins would be in violation as well.

I have (well, Kenner, technically)
And the first chance I got to vote for govenor was for this election http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_gubernatorial_election,_1991
Ah, Louisiana Politics......what fun.
Why not just telnet to port 80 and read the page as it streams across?

From the story, there's a link that says "2 more pictures". http://www.newscientist.com/articleimages/mg20126936.900/1-across-the-ocean-in-a-pedalpowered-submarine.html (total of 3). Picture 1 can be seen in the article. Picture 2 is a drawing. Picture 3 is a blue-line.

From the article, he's going to dive to 20 meters for about 45 minutes periodically (full article link: http://www.newscientist.com/article/mg20126936.900-across-the-ocean-in-a-pedalpowered-submarine.html?full=true scrollbar about 1/2 way).
That's all of the people that would actually PLAY a cycling game. Now, if you mounted lasers on the handlebars......
I think Under Armor would be a better tie in than Nike......

Best comment in the whole thread......
May I be the first to say: For the GRUE!!!!!
Of course, they'll have to tweak things so that they wimp-ify the Grue race and everyone will complain.

You should switch to Liberty Dollar's (http://www.libertydollar.org/) to show your contempt for the government as well.
