There should be a ban on advertisement methods like this. This is going too far. There's already too much junk hanging around our planet, and with systems like this one can also make it harder to navigate without tools.
I think he's a bold person with a very optimistic view. How he thinks he could ever be a president of the US is beyond me, but I hope he succeeds.. The biggest problem he has, is being asian.. And with the US already trying to block a lot of chinese companies (in the media) it will just make people wonder if Yang isn't a puppet for the chinese goverment (no, they don't even think about where he's actually born, he looks like one so he is one, for a lot of people).. And ofcourse I don't think a lot of democrats don't want him in the chair either.. But agian, I hope he succeeds, it would mean a completely different direction as Trump is going.
Well at least now we know for certain the a goverment is listening in on those lines, the US... With huawei there still hasn't been presented one shred of evidrnce the chinese goverment is capable of spying through huawei's hardware, but with US hardware we already have enoug evidence of them spying on everybody, including it's own allies..
But http or https doesn't really matter these days, even malicious sites are using https.. As long as you get a warning when downloading and you are still able to download the file, I don't have anything against it. But if they just block download completely because it isn't coming from an https site, than I won't be using Chrome anymore.. As I said, https doesn't say anything about the file being safe.
You can fool any phone's fingerprint sensor with a simple rip of a fingerprint. So what would be so special about this one? This isn't anything special, except the media needing some nice story which seems sensational, even though it isn't. So nothing to see we already didn't know.. And I'm pretty sure it didn't take him 3 minutes to do it.
Oscars don't really mean anything anymore, it's more about the best promoted submitted movie than really about being the best. It would be really stupid to exclude streaming movies from the Oscars, especially because they are made exactly the same. Because a movie hasn't been in theatre doesn't mean it's a bad movie or not 'oscar worthy'. Oscars should be about the best production etc, and that could even be a television movie.
Now it's Fortnite, before it it was another game like world of warcraft etc. This isn't anything new, and has been happening since the introduction of the home videogames..
Oh god Apple is bitching about them not getting money for doing nothing.. The Apple store is just one big ripoff for developers, Apple is getting richt over the backs of other for doing hardly anything. They could easily run their store with profit when they would lower their take to 10% (no no % for subscriptions).
'like a model 3', sounds to me nothing like a real SUV, just as ugly/boring as the Model X which was also just a morphed upwards Model S. Wake me up when they release a real SUV.
It's a test build, it's even states that the build shouldn't be used for day to day operating. And isn't the problem here the anti-cheat software, so shouldn't THEY fix the reason why that particular version of windows is crashing (unless ofcourse they are using the API's as they should be used and not do something they shouldn't)?
You mean exactly as the US have? I think the US is much better at telling lies and pushing propaganda into the world.. So before starting pointing fingers, look to yourself.
the headline doesn't fit the story, there was nothing wrong with the police license plate reader and it didn't make a mistake, it worked perfectly. The mistake was that somebody forgot to update the database. None of the cases in the story support the notion the reader is at fault (so reading the actual licenseplate wrong), the problem lies with the database itself or criminals using duplicate licenseplates (well nobody can do anything about that until there is a way to make a licenseplate really unique so it can't be copied). An officer can't see if the person driving the vehicle is a person who stole the car or not, and having dealt with a lot of criminals who stole cars and didn't go quietly when stopped, you can ofcourse understand why cops react this way when stopping a carthief. Anybody can claim he/she is innocent. In this case the people who forgot to inform the car was found should get a fine for not reporting it properly. The article just underlines the fact the system actually works..
Do they think it's wise to bring an organic sample from the astroid down here to earth? Wouldn't it be safer to first check it out at ISS, so if something is wrong with the sample we won't have a big dissaster on our hands here on earth.
So the cdplayer itself isn't connected to the hifi soundsystem that is needed to hear the music? This is really just a BS article. So producing the CD's/vinyl records doesn't cost any energy? what do you think it costs to ship those cd's/records and store them in a shop? again, this is just a BS article.
oh you mean the laws of physics which are written by man, and are still subject to change once we figure stuff out we didn't know up until we figured them out. There's still a lot of mystery behind how nature actually works, and Tesla studies a lot of things that we still don't know how it works. You don't know what he thought up, how he was planning to use his tower, so all you can think of is about the conventional ways we know today, but Tesla had a lot of knowledge he never shared and scientists are still trying to figure stuff out which is to believed that Tesla already knew about.
He meant inventor ofcourse.. But the reason he didn't get any support was due to the oilcompanies who pressured his investor into backing out. If his invention would work it would have put the oilcompanies out of business, and even then it was a billion dollar business. That's not something they would have let happen, also let's not forget who are the money behind the president back then (and still for a good part are today and always have been), so no suprise the president would not give him any help.
Why don't you put the responsibility with the parents or children themselves. I know the might be graphic images, but do we really need to hide everything so some emotional/instable person might not do something to her-/himself? She propably would still have killed herself even if she didn't have seen those images. What's next? not being allowed to talk about selfharm or suicide, because it might trigger some person to do it to themselves?
The online version of Excell, Word and outlook really suck compaired to the offline version. very slow, a lot of visual updating problems (or mostly just missing a lot of options).
If there's one country proven not to be trusted, than it's the US. Don't buy US network gear as it's proven to have (had) backdoors for NSA.. So what gear can we trust now?

In case you didn't know, MITM attacks are now also possible through https....... It's not as simple as with http, but it is possible..

No, but you can do it with a simple tape with the copy of the fingerprint attached to your finger...

aims ultimately to cut road deaths to zero by 2050
You can aim all you want, but cutting road deaths to zero by 2050 is a very naive goal..
Unless we won't have roads anymore....
It's simple. as ethics are always in the eye of the beholder, you cannot build in real ethics as it's always the view of one person/group.

And I'll bet Bas Lansdorp has put a lot of those $100 million into his own pocket..
