There should be a ban on advertisement methods like this. This is going too far. There's already too much junk hanging around our planet, and with systems like this one can also make it harder to navigate without tools.
I think he's a bold person with a very optimistic view. How he thinks he could ever be a president of the US is beyond me, but I hope he succeeds.. The biggest problem he has, is being asian.. And with the US already trying to block a lot of chinese companies (in the media) it will just make people wonder if Yang isn't a puppet for the chinese goverment (no, they don't even think about where he's actually born, he looks like one so he is one, for a lot of people).. None of the cases in the story support the notion the reader is at fault (so reading the actual licenseplate wrong), the problem lies with the database itself or criminals using duplicate licenseplates (well nobody can do anything about that until there is a way to make a licenseplate really unique so it can't be copied). An officer can't see if the person driving the vehicle is a person who stole the car or not, and having dealt with a lot of criminals who stole cars and didn't go quietly when stopped, you can ofcourse understand why cops react this way when stopping a carthief. Anybody can claim he/she is innocent. In this case the people who forgot to inform the car was found should get a fine for not reporting it properly. The article just underlines the fact the system actually works..

Why don't you put the responsibility with the parents or children themselves. I know the might be graphic images, but do we really need to hide everything so some emotional/instable person might not do something to her-/himself? What's next? not being allowed to talk about selfharm or suicide, because it might trigger some person to do it to themselves?
The online version of Excell, Word and outlook really suck compaired to the offline version. very slow, a lot of visual updating problems (or mostly just missing a lot of options).
If there's one country proven not to be trusted, than it's the US. Don't buy US network gear as it's proven to have (had) backdoors for NSA.. So what gear can we trust now?
