The biggest problem these days with mobile sites is the vast ammount of resolution differences between mobiles.. I Personally don't like mobile sites, they miss so much stuff or work really crappy.. Mostly i just tell the browser to load the regular site, but even those are getting worse and worse (because of a lot of junk being added to the sites which may look good on a desktop machine with a good cpu/gpu, but is just crap on anything else..) Facebook is one of the best examples on how crap a site can be on different browsers..

yeah stuff happens, doing that (taking social phone calls, texting etc) will get you home and start looking for a new job... between 9 to 5 you're on company time not your own.. It's ridiculous that people expect to be able to use their phone on whatever time they can. Because you can be available anytime because you've got you're phone in your pants, doesn't mean you should be available. You'll see you're girl/boyfriend after work again, no need to yab about everything during your work..

  22. Re:We do it in class all the time on 20-Somethings Think It's OK To Text and Answer Calls In Business Meetings · · Score: 3, Interesting

No, texting is not normal, it's rude and should not be done during meetings or classes unless it actually has something to do with the meeting/class itself.. You're at work/school, so you should leave the private stuff for lunchbreaks or after work.. If it's during my meeting I'll warn you once, if during the same meeting it happens again, I'll warn you twice, if it happens a third time during the same meeting, your mobile will become an UFO that'll crash.. People should just have some respect for others and work, and should know that private calls are not for businesshours unless there really is an emergency.. I pay you to work, not to spend your office hours on your socialmedia hub..

Even at 1920x1080 they still haven't achieved photorealism for gaming, and yes it get's better, but if you look at the latest BF4 trailers, those video's are done with triple highend GPU's, and even those seem to be rather smooth and lifelike, they still need a lot of extra detail to make it even more realistic, and it will still take a few years before we have GPU's in the what we call 'mainstream' (100-200 euro for a videocard). Upping the resolution for gaming isn't really usefull (except maybe on larger monitors (27" and up) as with higher resolutions more powerfull GPU's are needed to 'fill' the extra resolution.. We've still got a long road ahead to get lifelike facial animations (yes even though the nvidia demo's looked awesome, but those were only one face and everything dedicated to that face, will be a different matter if you have a crowd)..

Knowing humans and their toys, you just know people will use the googleglass for checking mail and other crap during driving.. the barrier to do that is soo low, even people who claim who wouldn't do that, will do it..
Google glasses (or any wearable mediaglasses) don't have a place during driving, you have to keep your eyes on the road, not your mediadevice.. I've seen people watching complete movies while speeding at the highway, it's just scary..
