I fully agree, but ofcourse there are always exceptions.. If you need code that runs fast then it can be better to just copy&Paste (which isn't something people seem to care about these days anymore, and then complain about having to need a faster computer every now and then just to run the same kind of program).

Why do you think politicians are competent people, as we can clearly see in the Netherlands they aren't.. And if you really look close to 'what they stand for' when you cast your vote, and look what they really do after they win, then you see that it's nothing they promised... Politicians are good at spending money at meaningless things and at commitee's trying to find out stuff which we the public already know.. comeone, if they can't even stop the constantly moving between brussel and that other place (I forgot it's name, i think it was strassburg) because some country want's it, then you know they aren't any good or competent (yeah they are good and competent at wasting money).. and let's not forget we dutchies are the ones that pay the most to the EU, but get the least return on it.. IMHO since the US requires us to hand over our fingerprint and photo's, and now want access to our private files, we as the EU should also do the same with US (even if we don't do anything with it), I wonder how many US citizens will start complaining (just like a few years ago with that southamerican country who did the same)..

An SUV has way more room for the batteries (remember the big gasolinetank or the big engine compartment).. Mister Terminator himself got an electric Humvee, my god would I like to have that one.. Also one thing that's propably easier is converting an old SUV into an electric car, because of the room it can have.. So I think there is a big difference between your aunts tv and those people's wifisignals.. and let's not forget, the right signalfrequency can destroy the cells in a persons body, and those are just signals, so without a real good studie into longterm effects you cannot say that wifisignals are harmless..

Wifi isn't really necessary, but some people are so used to going everywhere with everything that they cannot live without it, it's an addiction so to say.. So instead of dumb comments try to imagine what those people have to live with, oh but I guess that's too difficult because your brain is getting fried by wifi signals (There still isn't good research done on the longterm effects of wifi signals, just to remember you that a long time ago smoking was also believed to be harmless, and living under powercables would also be no problemen, and asbestos was also no problem, and now we luckily know better)

I really don't understand the fuzz, I personally hate XML based formats because they are SOOOOOO inefficient in space, but I do know that people bitch if you don't use one 'generic' format because their program can't read it.. Now MS has put out a format (which they can't easily change now since it's ISO, they can only extend it) so a lot of programs can use it for their own benefit.. Look at the opensource alternative, ODF, it was to become a standard until the initialdevelopers dropped it all together, so that's also a format you can't use..
