Won't work. First, some people actually want to receive mail from people they do not know yet. Second, as soon as one of your friend's Windoze PC gets compromised and it sends junk to everyone in its address book, you get on the spam lists too.
Most computer users don't even know that Windoze has a clipboard, let alone know how to press Ctrl-V to do something with it, nevermind getting some program to actually follow the link.
A gadget like this doesn't need support. You install Linux and then you leave it alone - don't fix it if it ain't broke. It will keep running for many years and keep working just like the day you bought it.
How often do you update the software in your refrigerator?
Asus alone sells more Linux machines than Apple sells Macs. The Linux market share is totally overwhelming if you include embedded devices with sales of about 300 million units per year.
Of course Apple sells more Macs and iPods than anyone else...;)
Georgia is in a state of civil war. Russia needs to be commended for its swift action and putting the conflict down within hours, thus limiting the damage and casualties.
Hmm, considering that everything since about 1998 is just polishing of WinNT and 10 years later people are still buying it, their previous Ad agency must have been doing really well.
As Linux takes over in the back rooms, the number of staff required to maintain the systems, reduces. This trend has been ongoing for years. Now that Linux is moving onto desktops and laptops, the trend is bound to accelerate. Microsoft types are doomed and need to upgrade their burger flipping skills.
The problem with geothermal energy is that you need to drill hundreds of holes and then you end up with enormous quantities of toxic, heavy metal polluted water run-off. Drilling for oil requires orders of magnitude fewer holes and results in less water pollution.
Uhmm, you do realize that Iceland is a teenie, tiny little dot of an island in the northern ocean do you? The actual amount of energy produced from geothermal sources in Iceland is verrry small and about equal to a single fair sized coal fired (or nuclear) power station.
It is even more fun in person, with technology - something from her 'treasure chest' can make it way more fun. As Liza Minnelli put it: "Too much of a good thing can be wooonnnderful..."
I would be surprised if anything older than 250 BCE is found, since that is when Aristotle wrote Poetics - a university text book on how to write religious texts. Obviously after he wrote Poetics, the bible texts blossomed as every two bit poet tried his hand at it.

It looks like a big ball of nothing to me.

Mandriva supports the Eee PC directly. Just get the latest version and install it. No big deal.
then 66% of Vista PCs would be downgraded.
"Without Vista, anti-trust law suits and billions of dollars in fines, I don't think it would have been possible for Linux to get a foothold."
--there, fixed it for you.
Not a lot of money, but much better than wasting more time in court.
Actually, cars are hydrogen powered already - liquid hydrocarbons.

The circus actors put all the Olympic gymnasts to shame and make the Olympic events look like kindergarten activities.

That single setup produces about 5 times more geothermal energy than the much touted Iceland...

Actually he did not do any damage and left the system in a safe state. Since there was no damage done, SF has no claim against him.
Most any respectable programmer's editor has hooks for versioning and build systems. The nicest ones are Gedit and Geany.
Considering how many millions of Linux machines there are in the MoD, DnD, DoD and Gov, your scenario is rather unlikely.
Exactly. The microwave radiation from the sun is far more powerful than a cell phone. So don't walk outside!
