    How does a 3rd world country as backward as NK have elite, top of the line, hacking capability? Last I checked, they had a whole 1024 IP addresses for the whole country. T

    I ended up mounting all my TVs after mine fell on a large doggy bed (pretty much a giant pillow) and the damn thing crushed in the top area. No visible crack but you could definitely see the bump in the screen. And that was the only part of the TV that would light up.

    Mine lasted about 3 months before the fall and was my first time in trying to use an extended warranty I bought from Walmart that specifically said it covered accidental drops. What I missed was that it was a general warranty and next to accidental drops, it stated hand held devices only. My fault I guess but is the last TV i buy from Walmart.

    The problem is that they aren't just killing each other. They are killing the Christians (what's left of them anyways) over there as well as some of the non-radicalized mu slims communities.

    We can debate whether this is our problem or not, but it's not as simple as let them kill each other.

    Agreed. Not sure google maps is the right avenue for that though.

    I'm also not sure how much I would admit to knowing about illegal activities online on google maps (or elsewhere) unless I also reported them to the authorities. And if I did report it, those authorities would probably not want me posting information about a possible case online.

    Net Neutrality was sure a magical, all encompassing piece of regulation. Everything bad that happens from now to the end of time can be blamed on it being repealed and nothing good can be credited to it..

    I have a PC gaming rig as well, and did a lot of PC gaming when I was younger, but honestly, at this point in my life between career and family, I don't have 2 hours to dick with installations, settings and drivers to get shit to work.

    It must have been a while since you were a PCgamer. I just launch steam and go. Unless I am messing with mods, there is no mess with anything put hitting play and turning on my controller. I launch my console so rarely that it's a good hour or so before I'm up and running with all the firmware and game updates I have to wait for.

    It's a different gaming experience. I'm a PC gamer and have the PS4 beat. If performance if that key to you, it's really the way to go. For my gaming systems, the Wii definetley is the one that gets pulled out of storage the most for family fun.

    Really? I really feel some people here are extremely out of touch with what most people make. That, or they work some government job and is used to those benefits not counting against their pay

    I make around 60,000. That's before the money taken out for healthcare and my other benefits. And that's not a complaint. I make enough to support my family, make my house and car payments as well as my other bills. In fact, I'd probably have a pretty good nest egg if I would (re)gain control of my spending habits by simply eliminating fast food.

    Granted the cost of living in San Antonio is lower than most places but then my wage reflects that. Same job, same company, pays allot more in other states.

    My thoughts about NN may have missed the mark, but the "spirit" or "intent" of a law matters.

    Well it does indicate your knowledge of what Net Neutrality actually is which helps us judge the merit of your other posts related to this topic.

    Focusing on the letter of the law is a concession of the many failures of humanity.

    Would you feel the same if you were arrested for violating the "spirit of the law"?

    The problem is we have a bunch of ignorant do gooders trying to force the wages for employees up to a point where automation just becomes cheaper.

    Or you can do your part and let your cart build up so everything can be shipped in one box instead of wanting everything at once. Then Amazon can ship it the eco friendly way you want. Amazon even has a choice at checkout to delay your shipment so they can send everything in as few boxes as possible.

    Well, the 24/7 negative news coverage of anything republican definitely makes it hard to win. But Trump pulled it off last November. The party just needs to finally realize it needs to treat the media like the enemy. The republicans saying "I respect what the media says and does but I disagree with them" just gives the media power and credibility when the media bashes them.

    It doesn't matter what they do. People like you will see any bill by the Rs as a sell out to ISPs no matter what is in the bill. And even if they did somehow make a bill that totally destroyed the ISPs, you'd write it off as self serving and an obvious attempt to buy votes. (I've seen that on here already for stuff that Trump has pushed forward that we agreed with. Post after post saying not to trust it. Or that it must benefit him in some way we can't see. )

    If you subtract out benefits from my paycheck or lots of other professions (since we have to pay those out of our annual salary), teachers make out very well.
