    The instant search is not directly based on what you type, it is based on the suggestions google gives you.
    As you type "chee", you will see the results for "cheesecake", and for "cheese and b" you will have the results for "cheese and burger society".

    Sometimes, gameplay must prevail over realism. The fact that the player had to choose between the flashlight and the gun was an inherent part of the gameplay, and made the game better (at least for players who actually wanted to enjoy it).

    In fact, Schroedinger's cat story was meant to show that quantum physics was just a model, and particles were not really in two different states simultaneously. But most people understood it the wrong way, and now most mentions of the cat experiment promote the oposite idea of what was the initial goal.

    The computer time is necessary to find the move that isn't one of the 12 we usually think of, and will solve any cube.

    I got a team working on solving Rubik's cube in 1 move.
    The proof only need 30 years of computering to be proven, however as we only got one computer we won't release is before 2040 (and then we'll claim we were that close to the solution, but due to a timestamp bug we had to restart from scratch in 2038).

    I am even well aware of the risk that some paedophile, somewhere, wanks looking at my picture. And I cannot see any evil in it. In fact, if that helped that person defuse their urges, thus making them less prone to actually molest a child, good for them. And for the children left unmolested.

    Without going so far as to say that such a person having a picture to wank to might be enough to make him not prone to molest a child (a real paedophile would not have enough with a picture, and the step from child porn wanker to raper is not small), but I think that if he can find such pictures on the web and it's enough for him,at least he won't inject money into the actual child porn industry.

    The projectors are financed by the studios.

    Cinemas and studios have contracts such that every time a movie is projected in 3D (or just digital 2D), the cinema sends an invoice to the studio, until the equipment is fully paid for.
