Man, I want to play "Getting the Kids off the Lawn!" That would be so much fun.

Yeah, because anyone who uses a Mac must be brainwashed or something...

  3. iNewt on Newton II - Does The Rumor Have Legs This Time? · · Score: 0

If they left the speaker and mic in and put a card slot in like the Newton wireless carriers could write drivers for it and sell their wireless internet cards for them enabling someone to use this iNewt or whatever as a cell phone. There could also be bluetooth options and maybe USB, I think it'd be smart to have a USB port in a PDA like device.

Alliteration refers to the first sound in the word. It can be a vowel or a consonant. Assonance refers to words that have the same vowel sound. Fought the rot is an example of assonance. Inverted integers has both alliteration and assonance. Job jumped at the Gym is still alliteration because the sounds are the same. Anyway, enough of that.

  5. Re:What is up with people? on Downloadable Content This Week - Zuma Clone, TMNT · · Score: 0

I think the original TMNT game is the best Turtles game out there. I'd buy the Virtual Console version if I didn't have my original NES cart already.

  6. Re:Gaaahhh on Wii, DS Dominate February Hardware Sales · · Score: 0

If you live in a town with enough electronics stores you just have to commit to knowing their delivery schedules and being at the stores when their shipments come in. That's what I did and I got my Wii 3 days after I started looking. I had friends that got theirs within a week by just calling the stores when their shipments came in.

  7. Re:Store Shelves on The Wii - Is the Magic Gone? · · Score: 0

Yup, hours here as well. Wiimotes, nunchucks and games are being bought up by people who don't even have Wiis so that they can have the controllers and games when they finally get their hands on a system. I'm one of the lucky ones who has a Wii around here, but getting anything for it is a pain in the butt.

  8. The obligatory comment reply... on Mac Book Pro as Roomba Remote · · Score: 0, Offtopic

But a Dell configured with the same specs as a 17" MacBook Pro actually costs $500 to $1000 more and you have to deal w/ a bulkier case, no webcam, no remote, no FireWire 800 and an inability to legally run OS X.

There we go, now that's out of the way as well!

  9. Re:Major Vs Minor on Scientists Create Air Guitar T-shirt · · Score: 1

Move any of your fingers and your elbow moves, or at least skin near the elbow moves. If the sensors had a learning mode then you could conceivably come up w/ different movements for major, minor, suspended, etc. I would guess that this would work on a power chord principle, but allow you to move different fingers for different kinds of chords. Flicking your wrist also moves quite a bit near the elbow area.
