I know that several people have described what the RIAA has done as criminal, and I don't think that even the RIAA lawyers would disagree. I also don't condone violence in any way, shape or form. However, since I've lived in Oklahoma and Texas for most of my life, I can tell you that the Redneck way is an eye for an eye - in every sense of the word. In fact, in Texas, if someone enters your house unlawfully, you can shoot him dead.
What I'm wondering (after that lengthy prelude) is when is the RIAA going to go after someone who has the same view as some of the Rednecks that I've known and have their bad karma reciprocated? In other words, at what point do you think that someone going to resort to violence? I'm sure the RIAA lawyers wonder the same thing, and wear their ballistic vests.
What the World has witnessed is the greatest heist in history. BushCo effectively robbed the U.S. Treasury. US citizens, and our children's children, will have to pay it back.

Companies that use GMail as their e-mail solution are FAR from being a Fortune 500 company. It's an entirely different ball game for a small company vs a F500 company with a comparatively huge budget. For a lot of companies out there, GMail makes good business sense. Comparing F500 to Mom n Pop, Inc. is just very short sighted - unless you simply wanted to showcase your vast experience and knowledge here on/..
In addition to being an IT guy, I also own a gym, so I really have no excuse. Well, my wife runs the day-to-day operations, but I go to work each day and she goes to the gym. It was fun setting up the technology (network, cameras, access system, CC billing, etc...)
Yeah, I DO practice what I preach. Fit as a fiddle here.
I was with the "why even announce it on/." crowd, but you are actually quite right. It is news for nerds.
Now that it's announced, however, we can just as quickly forget about this unusable distro with mean, and just as useless, "community" behind it - we have enough of those as it stands. Not much to see here. Move along.
This is exactly why corporate America has been turning to private planes since 9/11. Execs just don't want to deal with the bullshit - and they don't have to if they have the money. Drive up to the jet and go.
From what I understand, this is typical of the Ruby elitist assholes. They are the shittiest of the shitty "communities". They make the OBSD guys look like Care Bears. Sure, they may know what they are talking about and might even be pretty smart and great with Ruby, but the dickishness is really uncalled for.
Freenet: Hello Department of Homeland Security? This is Mr. CEO from Freenet. I'm sending you the API to our 0.7 release so you can monitor everyone who thinks they're really 'anonymous'.
DHS: Wha whawha?
Freenet: Yes sir, people really do think they're anonymously transmitting information - it said so on Slashdot.
"The goal is to study smog and its consequences as well as better understand the sources of air pollution" <tinfoilhat> Oh, that's what they say... But let's just see if they don't get used for citizen surveillance as well... If they're already flying there, you know someone in power will ask for it. </tinfoilhat> And to put it another way:

It's how you use it! Ha ha what a lie.

Pat, I'd like to buy a vowel... for poor Mr. Krcmar.
He said "mission". CIA. Sounds fun, AC!
Same here. Is it time to retire yet? Can I sell my /. number on eBay when I do?
If only we spent as much on Space exploration as we do on the War Machine. I'd be planning my vacation on the Moon or at least to the Hilton in orbit.
Can Hans have a computer(s) in prison and continue to work on the file system?
Three months after the site opened? I don't remember when I signed up, but I think it must've been longer than three months.
I've always liked your sig, BTW.
Probably the same fuckwit who turned my karma to "Terrible" because I wrote something he disagreed with.

Well, gosh, then that means that NO software has ever been free in the history of software.
How can they say that this thing doesn't have a rim? It looks pretty clear to me that this lake has a rim. It may not be raised a lot, but rim - yes.

2) Reverse engineer alien penis enlargement chemical.
3) Adapt it to Earthlings.

The next time I leave this country, of which I am a citizen, I will not come back*. See? Elegant!

At first glance, I thought there was going to be a Brit production of the show "X Files". What a let down.
Well? Someone had to say it.
