Unfortunately I can't find anything... Just basing off my sister who is always telling me that medicare constantly pays too much for services, or pays for far more than is necessary, etc. Hospitals see it as a cash-cow.
Efficiency has to do with much more than 'overhead.' Medicare consistantly pays too much for healthcare, or provides for far more than necessary in many cases.
When it's "not your money" it's much easier to spend.
I've been doing my job from India for quite a while now
Hah! I've got one better. Somebody else has been doing my job from India! Oh. Wait...

I have seen some people 'not get it' when it comes to jokes, but buddy you seriously need help. Run, don't walk, to your nearest 'humor store' and buy all you can. Seriously. Isn't there a help number for people like this?
The problem is that most people you're explaining this to are not 'this croud' and *have* Word at work, at home, everywhere. And many of them don't know what 'other operating systems' there are, or don't care that you can't use Word on your crappy lie-nux system. Thus the analogies to more common scenarios and how these issues play out long-term.
Companies can still compete on features, interface, etc. Just recently I was forced to use Excel rather than OpenOffice when trying to add a linear regression line to a graph. OOo couldn't handle this, but Excel has excellent support (even adds the function used to the graph).

html/graphics and multimedia capabilities. While I haven't used PINE in a long time, last time I did, mime was almost an add-on, and a bit gnarly to use.
You consider that a *feature*? Ugh. If mutt can't display it, then it's SPAM.
It's one day of the year the/. guys have some fun with the site. Nothing to blow a gasket over. I can't believe how many nerds get so upset when/. decides to mess around a bit. Just have fun with it, or ignore the site for the day if it puts you off *that* much. Maybe even develop a sense of humor?
Well as a healthy American, you see, I'm not terribly pleased when the government is careless with my money.

It reduces the waste that's a fundamental part of private health care.
Hrm. My sister who works in the medical field would disagree. Look into how "efficiently" medicare and medicaid operate sometime.
Hrm. At one time, for maybe a year, I'd have given you IE. But Windows Media Player? Christ what a fugly app...
The windows audio recorder can now record for longer than 60 seconds! Man, I've been waiting a *decade* for that!
Why is it all the stock apps with Windows suck?
In this case it seems they are juat setting themselves up to fail.
Absolutely. What, you expected a "Grand Challenge" to be passed the first time? What kind of challenge would that be?
Ask the impossible of people, or you won't get any progress.
Nice... Been a long time since I've seen/heard a Ren & Stimpy quote. :-)
*rofl*
Don't forget to *ENJOY THE SAUCE*!
As I recall, these attributes are considered to be a good thing within the Open Source community.
And if DNF were open source it would be a good thing. You would, in fact, be *playing* DNF right now.
But how does it *taste*?

Or just use the 'reload every' firefox extension...
Wooo! Looks like it was successful. :-)
I think it's time "itsatrap" becomes a tag on slashdot...

I think they'll do it until all the up-tight slashdotters either leave or develop a sense of humor...
The nerds are just once again furthering the stereotype that they have no sense of humor. Remember this guy? He's not just a Simpsons character...

I'm just curious, do you look like this too? Or just have the up-tight anal personality he has?
Hrm. Goth outfit? No. I think jeans and a black turtleneck would go over much worse... :-)
Ahhh, my bad. Sorry.
