You have a right to your own beliefs but there is another side to this coin.
English (and all other languages) have a lot of words that sound the same, yet have a different meaning. Even for someone who speaks fluent English it takes many years before they can start to master the vast vocabulary of "fancy" words. On top of that: Words change meaning, they come up with new words, the meaning of a word can change if the sentence changes, and words have different meanings in different work fields.. If you look at Websites like www.acronymfinder.com (you will notice that it has fields for different meanings of an acronym). Acronyms are constantly used, more and more, in newspapers, magazines, and even articles on the Web.. And finally: If you work a cab until you are exhausted, how much is left of you at the end of the day to study?.. People who study other languages have gone though this.
If you being asked to contribute, that is an indicator of lazy or dumb management - You give the "idea" work, they get the pay! Go work for a better smaller company. You are not garbage, nor something to be disposed of after your idea is given.
An intolerant billing spike, or economy shake up might re-ignite TV's appeal. Stop putting all your eggs in one basket. Any additional form of communication is quite handy! I read so many articles every week telling of how the Web is being breached on this site. Yet very few see the need for any backup or alternative. This narrow thinking has got to stop!...I can't help to wonder, is this just a hidden greedy lunge for bandwidth? - Is it a way to funnel all people to one choice, where they can be watched and monitored?
If you want to work at some huge Company with a hard interviewer, that's your choice to make. I have known a bunch of coders who got together (either from getting the old-age boot - or simply in disgust of their job) and form their own little company. They are happy and doing quite well! If you are looking for huge sums of money; that comes with a price: Stress, time constraints, working late hours. and maybe working through weekends. If it were me, I would have majored in at least one other field in college. Just in case I was unhappy with the one I'm in. (You can always code on the side for fun and staying current. They have Internet classes.) Coding is fun and I wish I had extra time to hone my skills.
for some real power outages!! Ha! 20 minutes eh? Try most of a day in the US. On a few occasions I experienced that. And our companies could care less if you don't have service. Call and you get a recording of outages in your area and an estimate of when they will be back up. Just try to get some money refunded for not being able to use the net! Ha!
All this makes me wonder if they will ever build a separate video box coupled with light connectors. You would certainly have room to spare building components. Shedding heat would be a breeze. And close to no time lag with the light connection. A separate power supply too! - Just a thought.
First of all you don't want a troll going underground. Bad for them to not vent - could lead to more damaging behaviour if they are bottled in. It crushes our freedom of speech. Don't we already have enough of that? News reporters, newspapers, and magazine folk are being kept out of White House meetings and are also threatened on what to say during NEWS casts.
Driving. Walking across the street. Riding a bicycle. Roller skating. These are but a few. If you think that everybody cares if your not looking around you, and you get run over or hit by their car... I have no idea where you've been!!
Is it me, or does it seem like you are getting mostly bread and paying more for it? Don't get me wrong. The other sub making sandwich companies are many times worse than Subway, those guys empty your wallet and fail to fill your stomach. With their "fancy name, or appearance" sub sandwiches.
Regarding the Bridge and the Children: Shouldn't there be someone or an assigned group watching over the events? Analysing the progress to make sure nothing disastrous or malicious happens?? Our world is so money focused.. What good is a signature?? Is a signed piece of paper going to cover a calamity like a band-aid?

Well can't they just carry digital translators with them??
It's time to figure out a 2n'd Internet. Let them devour each other on the old one.
A corporation trying to get away with something? Gasp! ..I never knew they would stoop down to that level. How novel!!

I agree with you all the way. Without buttons you are forced to look down for each and every function. This potentially endangers your life.
"To each, their own."

If I didn't have so many things on the burner right now, I'd take a slice of that Pi, myself!

You know, there was a time when I used to look up to Australia, and admired the way the used to treat people. Then came the corporations..
If you could put enough players to overwhelm the AI, would it get a nervous breakdown?
