Paper ballots are not fool proof but they are a good idea it's how we vote here in Canada! and I like it!
it seams like very day there a new way to crack the E-voting computers. I think untill they fix the computers this is a good idea. I am not sure I would feel safe voting on one of the computer I think if they were instaled Iwould either go to another Poll pr ask for a paper ballots.
I think that this is a case of technology moving to fast for its own good!

You bring up a good point. I can see this move make sales drop. What artist wants there fan treated this way.
I think WMP should be removed from windows by default. The public at large is just going to use that is "there" and not look for anything else unless they know better!
I am also going to add this to the list of reasons why I wont be buying Vista any time soon.
This is just one more reason Im going to stick to CD's. If I like the artist then I go out a buy there CD. That way I can play it where ever I want in what ever device I need. If it gets to the point the CD are so full of DRM then ill just listen to the radio for free. No DRM via radio waves!
This guys doesn't sound like someone I would want a a friend or boyfriend. Who would relate to him. I would be worried about complaing about things that find hard or taxing. I know he's school smart but is he street smart and is he able to relate to people his own age at people at all ? I hope he takes some downs time to learn about life and connect with the people around him or else he will end up living a loney life with nutting but his "work" to keep him company.

I was recently laid off by a great employer and they told us face to face. I lied the job and I was really more sad about not seeing the people I worked with than anything else. We got a face to face meeting and If i have the chance I would work for them again.
Now if I had been laid off via txt or email I wouldn't work for them or continue to tell people how great there products are.
Theres a lot to be said for having the guts to tell someone face-to-face they are laid off and it goes a long way to help the person feel better about them self and there old job.
Could it be that these patches will occasionally phone Microsoft who then relays our data and actions to the FBI and/or NSA? Shouldn't we be suspicious that the government has never openly declared critical Linux updates [us-cert.gov] an imperative?
Umm I don't think so since windows is run on system that are all over the world not just in the USA. So say here in canada the goverment of the USA has no right to my data. Even if they wanted it they can't take it. just like they can't tap our phone lines with out MY goverments and the courts consent!
I will not be getting VISTA MS has yet to give me a reason on why i shoudl swicth.
I don't plan on getting vista on my system untill its been ut for at least half a year or more.
