What would happen if you took Windows 95 or Windows 3.1 and loaded it on that puppy?

Now a dude checking his email on the open wireless connection will have consumed, (unless he is downloading gigs of porn)
50-100 K of bandwidth (about the size of a normal web page) over a period of 1 minute. He sends a reply or 2, thats another 1K (unless he is UPLOADING gigs of porn)
Now there is ABSOLUTELY NO IMPACT to the provider who clearly doesnt care about sharing the connection due to the lack of security.
Take it a step further, I (just so happen to) live across the street from the coffee shop and I have a fairly powerful wifi antenna
and I am paying for a high speed connection.
Given that laptops and desktop connections will automatically find the hottest spot to connect to if the connections are unsecured,
then anyone who connects to me from the coffee shop to my closely located network, can be charged legally for a crime whether they knew they were doing it or not.
Popular? What does that have to do with the fact that every OS is written in it.

The filtering wont matter it in the end because it will be replaced with peoples personal wireless devices.
But one more thing...the people that use this stuff are total cowards. Many years ago I was asked to provide this capability to a dept mgr who wanted evidence to use against an employee.
I said no but the point is, that mgr was a coward. Any mgr can observe and document goofing off and fire whoever they want whenever they want.
The tool is just a sneaky crappy way to give the mgr an excuse for not being a decent mgr and is meant to embarrass the user. In other words, its a power trip.
