I've only had comcast since October of last year, but I've had no problems with them.. and my download/upload speeds are pretty good compared to all other ISPs I've used in the past.

I'm not sure I totally understand but when it says "recieve 3 standard TV signals, 1 HD channel" does it mean you will only be able to have 3 boxes in your house to recieve TV from IPTV?
MPEG-4 has a problem encoding bad quaility video, the reason being is because say you have a spot of red on the bottom of the screen for 100 frames, the first frame has the spot of red until frame 100 comes around and says it's a new color. The problem with bad quaility video is that there is so much noise nothing is ever the same for very long.
I just installed 2.0 on freebsd last night, from what little tests I have done so far afpd seems to be alot faster in this version and is just as fast as nfs.v3. I got an average of 8.43MBps with netatalk and an average of 8.54MBps with nfs. Both were bouncing back and forth on which was faster.
Longer file names are also supported! This is a huge plus if you have long file names (ie. mp3s)
