Back in January of this year, I had the good luck to be in Bloomfield, NM, making tours of the sights and etc. Saw the Aztec ruins and got the tour. I heard a lot about the "Sacred Navajo Land". Well, I paid the sacred Navajo Gas Tax and more.
Hillary came through the area! The Sacred Navajo Elder stated that his family shook her hand and it felt very powerful.
Hillary talked a lot about Sacred, Sovereign Navajo Rights and how much she supported these Sacred, Sovereign attempts by the Sacred, Sovereign Navajos.

After 40+ years, we finally have the answer: Steve Ditko was right. Some of us knew all along, of course, but for many, it seemed like an odd sort of debate.
Question: What sort of villain should Spiderman face? A grubby old thief or a high tech wonderman from the Military/Industrial Complex?
Mr. Ditko thought the former, Mr.Lee the latter. Mr. Ditko drew Spiderman for 20+ issues and left Marvel, Stan Lee had an empire to establish. Fast forward to 2008 and we still have the same (old) debate. It is seen as "character development": "Oh! Woe! Look at all the Bad I have done. To Assuage my guilt, I shall henceforth only vote straight Democrat - or if in Europe, Social-Democrat."
In the 70's, Iron Man was just ducky. But there has always been The Slant to Marvel's products. It got tiresome after a while, and I left. When Spiderman first hit the Silver Screen, it was great to see "Stan Lee and Steve Ditko". The casting of Willem Defoe was perfect for the Green Goblin, right out of Mr. Ditko's art work.
But some things never change, it seems. Iron Man gets an update, but not a makeover. "Gee! Iron Man has a slight Anti-American Bias!"

I'm a math teacher and/. troll. I have found that to have success in math, you must: Take your time. If you are in a rush you are almost guaranteed to screw up. Next, repeat each problem over and over. There is a reason that the textbooks give you so many problems to work out. Never try to take a shortcut when good 'ol paper and pencil work is handy. ***Most important!! Unless absolutely required for problem solving, DO NOT USE the Demon Machine, uhhh..., calculator.*** Finally, if you go into a study session with negative emotional energy, YOU NOW HAVE TWO PROBLEMS. You will rarely solve the math work while you carry this second problem. Disengage from the emotional part and you will be amazed at how your inside-your-head work will improve!

I teach math at a Pinellas County HS. The level of student competence in ANY of the basic subjects is abysmal. BTW, it is intentional, the system has been designed that way and the Suits got exactly what they want:

Thank you for making my argument. You look at the "Landscape". I look at the "RIGHT of PATENT".
Go to Google. Select "More". Select "Patents".
Enter a product in the field. Look at the results. You will find that there is a PERSON who is granted the patent. He may assign the patent to some other entity but someone created that work.
The Left is deeply aggrieved by this. "It should be done away with..." they say. "For the good of the people..." or other such nonsense.
The purpose of doing away with the patent system is to promote State Power.
