    The great thing about Arch is that it is its own reward. It's not hard to get going, but if you can't then you don't deserve it [see also gentoo]. YMMV and all but having used SuSE , Ubuntu, Debian and all that crowd I find that Arch's KISS philosophy really works best.

    Mod parent insane. Beamish is awful and a joke. People buy it because it is cheap, or because they feel sorry for it, or because they are incredibly old. I fully support them and think they are wonderful people and businessmen but their stout is just not good.

    ... when I wrote hypoglycemic I meant to write hyperglycemic and your so your notes were dangerously wrong. The nurse pumping you full of glucose was my computers fault because the spell checker didn't catch it.

    I feel utterly compelled to let you know that if your spell checker can tell which of those two words is appropriate then I would like to subscribe to your newsletter post haste.

    Ironically enough my Firefox 3 with standard British (correct) English spellcheck flagged both words as wrong.

    What do you guys hate about the "ae" diphtong?

    If all the file sharing sites are blocked then whatever particular site a citizen is on could not be illegal. The illegal ones are blocked aren't they?

    Either they filter or they don't, and if there is a filter then what gets needn't be looked at.

    Btw, American posters, Ireland is a very different place in terms of how people see the law.

    Parent is misleading. OSX is not immune, does not (in most cases) require a hardware change, need to pay for itself since it is cheaper than vista, have anything to do with id theft and mean you can't control your botnet (client vs. server plx).

    Historically speaking, there haven't been any useful Microsoft technologies that were or are completely interoperable, stable, relatively bugfree, and secure.
