I recommend they (and all of us): 1. promote awareness of the suffering and needs of others, and
2. promote compassion, kindness, consideration, gratitude and charity,
3. promote awareness of own behavior, the outcomes of our own actions.

Watch the video carefully. It seems there are long but thin vents that run from corner to corner in the removable top / lid around 1:59 and 2:03. Also, I'm not certain, but it looks like there may be small slit vents near the bottom in a circular pattern at 2:08
If there is something you feel feel should be on Slashdot, there is a "Submit Story" link at the bottom of the page. I suggest you use it instead of posting an off topic comment.
Google has had a number of algorithms to rank search results over the years. Some people liked some better than others. Why not have one default algorithm, but also have alternate algorithms (including one that takes into account +1 data) as part of their Advanced Search options? That way I can try Algorithm #2 or 3 if Algorithm #1 isn't giving the results I want.
They are, but I don't how well that is going. Barely any buzz about it (as far as I can tell), and from what I've seen the hardware is pricey. Hulu, on the other hand, is popular and users don't need to spend a few hundred dollars to use it.
There has been a lot of talk about Astrology, lately. Some people seem to have become distraught over their "sign changing" (even though it really hasn't).
Sidereal Astrology ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sidereal_astrology ) does things differently. It has 13 Zodiac Signs and different dates for each sign. It's not really new, and it's certainly not any more real than the Tropical Astrology. Simply ignore it and nothing really changes.
I have an Always Innovating Touch Book. It currently boots (a stripped down) Ubuntu Desktop 10.10, Android Froyo, and AIOS. It's expected to be able to run Chrome OS in the future, too. The software is still half-baked, however. Ubuntu wasn't actually running on it until a few months ago. I'm a little surprised they didn't use Ubuntu Netbook, but I suspect that may change in the future.
I don't much care what Microsoft has to say about anything. What I am curious about is how much Chrome OS will cut into Windows market share once it is finally launched. I don't want speculation -- wake me up when there are some solid numbers.
Seriously. Syfy has been invaded by wrestling (that properly belongs on SOAPnet) and wild goose chases (Ghost Hunters, Destination Truth, etc.) and other crap and they cancel shows like Caprica. It's becoming unwatchable.
Personally, I would have modded him "Absolutely Brilliant." But seriously, the post wasn't modded "Funny" before I replied to it, and while I assumed it might be a joke, I answered seriously because everyone is a noob at some point and it stands to reason there might be a few folks here who really don't know the difference. Treating them like second class netizens is a disservice to the Linux Community and Slashdot, IMHO. I am a little surprised I was modded up, but I'm not complaining.
Ubuntu, a distribution that uses (some version) of the Linux kernel, is up to 10.10 (Maverick Meerkat). The latest version of the Linux kernel to be released is 2.6.36.
The copyright advocates are undermining copyright by turning a decent idea (limited copyright) into a ridiculous one (holding culture hostage for as long as possible to prop up failing business models). The more they push their agenda the more people will call shenanigans on them and embrace copyleft (if not "piracy").
It means that when they get there, astronauts will be able to make Tang.
Anyone who likes Chrome OS can just use "Chrome for Android". https://www.google.com/intl/en/chrome/browser/mobile/android.html It's not exactly the same as running straight Chrome OS, but it's close enough. You get the best of both worlds.

These are just for Developers. The backers are are supposed to get them in March.
Early fusion research was performed there by Gallagher with his Sledge-O-Matic.

How many points to hack rankmyhack.com? :-)
I'm at 3 steps. A friend of my brother used to babysit Kevin Bacon's children.
Hmmm. Maybe it's the high-definition? I usually let the buffer load before playing to prevent interruptions. Besides that, I haven't had much problem.

I have no clue if they're interested, but I hope Google buys it. I like Hulu and I like Google. And, Google has done a decent job with YouTube.
And for the gaming nerds, DungeonMorph Dice (Dungeon Geomorphs): http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1764845067/dungeonmorph-dice-dungeon-geomorphs
I'd rather see him get hired by Google, given some resources, staff, and autonomy, and see what he makes of it.
Ah, but hindsight is 20/20!

There is a difference between Tropical Astrology and Sidereal Astrology. Tropical Astrology ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tropical_astrology ) has the 12 Zodiac signs we are all used to.
