    Actually, he did. Unfortunately, MacBeth II: Scottish Boogaloo was such a failure at The Globe box office that Shakespeare didn't include it in the First Folio.

    I agree that it's a mistake to believe that the original movies were great films. Good, yes. Enjoyable, absolutely. Great cinema, no. They were basically 30's serials updated with current (at the time) special effects. The prequel trilogy didn't really deviate from the pattern, except for more modern special effects.

    I think you mean the "center", not the "epicenter". An epicenter is the place on the surface of the Earth above where an earthquake takes place.

    Rock Band 2 has a similar mode for little kids and non-gaming adults to play. I agree that it would great as a way to get more non-dedicated gamers to play.

    Frankly, this is SOP on Slashdot. Take any other subject that's discussed here, like George Lucas, Star Trek, the programming language du jour, etc., etc., etc., and you'll find a large portion of the posting and moderating population will lean one way and tend to overwhelm other opinions.

    Actually, my initial comment was intended to be humorous, as the AC IMHO did a good job replicating the style of Mr. Beck. That Mr. Beck's way of speaking resembles The Almighty Shatner is a topic for another discussion :).

    Car seats of are so much work and yet for children over 2, they are no better than seat belts.

    Well, until auto makers start designing cars with child-sized seatbelts, I'm afraid we're stuck with them. As a parent of a toddler with another child on the way, the amount of extra work a child seat represents is miniscule compared to trying to get a three year old to pay attention.

    That's awfully presumptuous. Unless you can objectively compare a Vonnegut story to a Niven story, it's all just a matter of (somewhat) informed opinion. I like Lucifer's Hammer more than Moby Dick. Is it better or even as good? Hard to say.

    Seriously, how is a PC a unit of processing ability? And one thousand million GB sticks is an Exabyte (hence the name). Perhaps you can just say 10^18 bytes. This is slashdot, not msnbc.

    Or even a billion GB for those of us not in the Commonwealth. Of course, not everyone knows how big an exabyte is, but a billion 1 GB memory sticks is a pretty good visualization.
